  1. tried the power steering stuff in my 88 turbo , and yes it did work good, and i still have power steering after 1.5 years ago ,
  2. got it , this is 86 subaru 's wife , did it myself found extra passanger side switch in a box full of extra window switches , he is taking a extra run tonight ,soooooooo had to fix it myself , chance of rain thanks
  3. it;s the passanger front only , all other work, the switch at the drivers side does not work or the switch at the door
  4. thanks , will be getting a light duty a/t cooler , advance auto , for 30 bucks
  5. looking around for a tranny cooler found some for around 30 bucks , light duty , or heavy duty for 10 bucks more , along with new 2row radiator + drain fill tranny , my question is should i go with light duty or heavy duty ? i will be using the ac this summer , car has no problem with tranny,or go with oil cooler instead ?? thanks + what type of tranny fluid ?

  7. buy it , fix it up or strip it out :banana:thats how i found my first xt , mine had a bad tranny ,but a good turbo motor ,which i still have as a spare
  8. looked it up it says non turbo 2 row metal radiator ?? radiator express for a rx,122.95 $,so this is the correct one for my 88 a/t turbo wagon

  10. ok, the bottom of the tailgate is alittle rusty , bed trim is good, thing is this brat has been sitting there a few years and only 1 other person has touched it + a xt4 mpfi motor fwd , only thing gone is the radio and they did not know they had it
  11. i found a 83 brat in a local yard , what other engine parts should i grab , dist + carb is gone, rims are gone, so far what i have grabbed was jumpseats, interior stuff, wiper motor, bed trim, locks/keys, door panels, safety belts inside, outside molding , headlight stuff, 1 good fender, grill,
  12. yes coolant+ oil are where they should be , temp gauge reads in the middle , motor sounds the same , it just goes on for a few seconds then off then on ,thanks

  14. if you have oil leaks it will leak more ,
  15. it is on my 88 dl spfi d/r 193,000mi , oil pressure is good, [ after market gauge] oil level good, new oil + filter , motor sounds the same , it came on then off then on while driving , possibe oil sending unit ? wire is hooked up
  16. marine radio's are for boats only, if you get caught there is a fine , stay off ch-16 , i would use frs uhf radio's or gmrs
  17. when removing a gas tank ,what about the tube or spout ? will it just pull right out, i am sure there is bolts holding it in ?
  18. ask a local board member to test drive before you take it to a shop , because the shop may take you for a ride for alot of $$$$$ , + the board member who drives it may be able to put a tranny in for you
  19. under the hood on top of the motor it might say turbo ,the fluid for the tranny is real thick and smells pretty bad, not like oil , check the manual it should show how to check it , it seems to me it might be alittle low , i am sure some board member closer than me would put a fwd tranny in for you
