i bought some antifreeze form a local store [3 ga] , did a head gasket on a 86 , and it blew again, WAS LOOKING THIS MORNING ,THE ANTIFREEZE IS LEMON JUICE not even antifreeze , i changed a hose on the 88 turbo wagon and added some also , so beware when buying antifreeze

how often should you change the oil ? using redline , going to try it in the turbo wagon next oil change

check the hoses that go from the tranny to the radiator ,2 lines , they can get old and may need replaced

a few months ago some one said a ford fuel pump for a f-150 works ,but something about needing a hose kit, i had the same problem here awhile back on a 88 spfi wagon it was the hose and regulator at the fuel pump

there are a few try the xt board, 3 that i know of

i took mine out also , put in adjustable front struts from a 85 wagon, took awhile to find some , , [ manual ] , i have been working on a 86 wagon and saw that it has rear manual adjustable struts also

got mine on ebay , 74 bucks shipped all 3 pullies + belts

my guess exhaust gaskets, my 88 turbo needs aleast 1 gasket passanger, and you get alittle fumes and sounds like leak in the front

does your subaru have a skid plate ,if so remove it first ,much easier to gey to plug, i found that out

so it might be better if i am going to do it , spend more $ for a better set up ,thanks

yes just like that, saw the things at auto- zone, cone filter 24, plate 3-4 bucks ,30 bucks

i have a 88 turbo a/t full time 4wd wagon, 109,000mi running good, 22-23 mpg city 25 hi, 2 -1/2 pipe from cat back [ no cat] air box cut out k-n filter, my question is it worth the extra cost to run a cone filter and do away with the air box , looks like cost will be around 25 bucks total , any hp gain etc.....

they measure the tire with a gauge ,it was a 6out of 10 , only 7,000mi on the tire , everything is real nice now, but the flat tire on my 84 brat ,which they fixed 3 times , is no good , big bubble on side wall , i did not buy the tires from them that are on the brat, lucky i have 4 other tires and rims for my brat ., aleast i can move it around while working on other subaru's ,

heavy duty fuel line is what i used, got it at napa

they are sold in a store in just about every town , bud

mine did the same thing ,84 brat with a weber , in fact is was never hook up at all , it came from the deep south, tom from hills dale MI spent 15 mins and hooked it all up , maybe he will response to this post

found problem, rear tire belt broken , tire is junk , not even 7,000mi on tire , called place they will give me a new tire

yes all 4 tires the same , would the adjustable struts i have on the front might cause this ???

wife came home and she says the car sways as you take off , feels like the tire is going to fall off , new tires all the same size , new ball joints, wheel bearings, good axles , lug nuts tight , any help ????//

looks like i have 2 cars on recall , i wonder if they will honor it , fuel filters
