  2. maybe bad plug wires, or vacuum lines , give it a tune up , also drain and fill tranny , check timing ,
  3. i got my tranny cooler [ light duty] from advance auto on line , 37 bucks i think shipped + new 2 row radiator for my turbo wagon , no i am not going to tow anything ,just piece of mind , i am going to run the ac this summer , so the motor + tranny should be cooler, i ran it going though the new radiator + tranny cooler

  17. i have recharged my own system a few times ,i bought a kit from a local auto store ,and followed all directions + asked a local shop , and the shop showed me the correct way to do it , no i do not do it for a living or even work on cars for a living , and yes it can be dangerous ,but if all directions are followed ,it's not that hard to do
  18. this might be be a dumb question but what name brand should i buy when doing it myself? + some of the cans says oil for your compresser , how often should oil be added ?
  19. ok, also new water pump, gasket ,o-ring, heater hoses, water pipe was good, also, + oil line + coolant line from turbo replaced , thanks
  20. my 88 turbo a/t full time 4wd is still using coolant , aleast 1 time a week i have to add coolant , i repaced radiator , hoses , added tranny cooler, no coolant in oil, compression is good, no bubbles in radiator , no coolant on garage floor , no leaking on top of motor,
  21. my wife drives a 88 awd a/t gl-10 turbo wagon ,
  22. put in a new 2 row radiator + light duty tranny cooler into my 88 turbo a/t turbo wagon , before if running ac on regular setting 4th speed on fan it would be 2 bars from red , driving 70mph , now ac on max 4th speed 70mph , 1 bar below red , the cooler was hooked up to run though radiator + tranny cooler , + all new antifreeze of course , so my point is if you have a a/t in a turbo run a light duty tranny cooler + going to drain / fill tranny again
