  1. ok, found another subaru , i have not looked at it yet , the owner says it is a gl full time 4wd a/t turbo wagon , did they make the full time 4wds gl s ?, i throught that it had to be a gl-10 or am i wrong? :confused:
  2. i brought all the above , if fact one of my 4wd wagons did not have a hood on it ,and it fired right up . , i looked at another 4wd sedan at a lot and i know it sat for over a year , check oil, coolant, power steering fluid , later
  3. go with a full time 4wd gl-10 a/t wagon 88, my wife really likes this one , also came with a sunroof, and it is a turbo . :brow:
  4. or alot of people are putting in a/t fluid about 2 qts , drain your oil pan then add 3.5 qt tranny fluid run for 30 min drain and change filter , might help
  5. well it seems alot of $$$ to me , i think you are talking about the timming belts , and the oil pump seal , what part of the midwest are you ?
  6. mine does the same thing on my 86 spfi 2wd sdan , try mmo about 1/2 qt the next time you change your oil , 2.50 qt , just my 2 cents also run a good filter , :wave:

  9. i have come across some parts but not sure what they will fit, 11810aa000, 11810ka00,15208ka010,15208ka1`20,16546ka120 2519ga20.anyone know what subaru they fit ? thanks :cornfuzz:
  10. i am also using a oem alt belt , which in my opinion is better , seems to keep tighter , :wave:
  11. USE A BIG HAMMER , like i did today , and then drink a few beers and a few bad words . :banghead:
  12. well it is easier said than done , the axle will not come out and i gave up ,to cold outside to screw with it :banghead:

  15. have you tried auto-zone , the one in my home town has them in stock .

  17. i called the dealer in my area and bought other parts ,had them in 2 days , 22 bucks for both sides w / bands
