Any idea what they fit?
I don't think it will fit my car, but that rug (that you said could be anything) is actually a trunk floor rug thing, for a sedan.

Whats your gas mileage with what mods?
I forgot to post mine. 1986 Subaru gl10 turbo (still has air suspension). Have turbo back exhaust with fart can, and specter cold air intake. And front skid plate. 35-36 highway. City I'm getting around 29. (this is mountain driving as well) with 4 studded snow tires!

Exhaust Wrap vs. Heat Shields
shortysayhi replied to stevetone's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXSo this highway sign actually got knocked off by the snowplow and i took it off of the highway (can't do anything about that) and it got bent but the one thing that i would recommend is something about 4 inches longer. the back of my skid plate is held on by one little little bolt on a skinny piece of frame

Exhaust Wrap vs. Heat Shields
shortysayhi replied to stevetone's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXYou could always get a old highway sign and make a skid plate out of that. Thats what i did on my gl10 and it works great.

1999 gx estate air suspension + auto
shortysayhi replied to assalt's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXIt sounds like your struts (inside the air bags suspension) have gone out. I am experiencing this in my gl10 and since they are factory sealed there's nothing you can do besides replace the whole unit.

Projector lenses into GL/Loyale buckets
I can do that this weekend unless it's snowing.

Projector lenses into GL/Loyale buckets
Well if you want to go that route I could probably get them for you. But the projectors I have don't have the halo rings either. And I choose to go with a company rather then buying off of eBay.

Projector lenses into GL/Loyale buckets
I got the Morimoto H1 kit (with balists, lights, projectors, and harness) the problem with some of those other kits are that they don't have the right harness you would need (since the 9007 and 9004 use the same shape socket part). There is plenty of room infront of the lense to the factory glass( which is really good). I also think there is a dl in the junk yard near me... here's a pic are you talking about those rectangular ones?

Lightwerkz. They are more on the exspensive side but it's a complete kit and they are really nice. They didn't really give me instructions but I figured it out. And you have to change the wires in the 9007 harness and splice 2 wires for the solenoid (hi/low) controller in the projector unit. And besides that it was easy. I used a belt sander and switched grit. Then just did like 30 min of fine fine sanding (from the polishing kit I got) and then used jb weld to seal the headlights back together. I am super pleased with the result just have to aim and fix minuscule issues. But thanks to Turbone for the first trial and idea! I also used the 6000k bulbs. I can take pics from inside to show how bright it is.

They are bi xenon, so theres a high and low. I have driven on the highway, and work great no issues and had a friend drive my car and me pass them on the highway and its just like every other hid projector lights on cars. And also asked the cops where i live. The pictures make the light seem super bright because the camera is trying to capture it all. (with the projectors off)

finished wiring my new hid projector kit, and tested it out... they are amazingly brighter, and just have to finish gluing the glass back on. Also i got my down pipe made to 2.5 inch pipe.
