  1. Yeah i wanna average around 25 at least around town just driving hard. i drive up and down the mountain a lot. and then on the highway to and from town i wanna get like 30+. so we will see
  2. Oh i already had taken the old linkage off. it's all figured out now got the oil pressure figured out. Wasn't connected but appeared to be till i reached my hand down there. ahaha silly me. Yeah I am loving my new weber. just a couple more tweaks and she is there! Excited to see what my gas mileage is going to be like! now onto the cv axle. hopefully that gets done quickly
  3. Just re jetted to I'm running: Primary main: 130 Secondary main: 140 Primary air corrector: 190 Secondary air corrector: 200 Primary idle: 50 Secondary idle: 45 it is running a lot smoother. and it dies less when i slam on the accelerator. Which is good. but I don't know if that means I should keep increasing jet size and air corrector size. also plugges the asv and egr intake. Still can't figure out why it shows I have no oil pressure.
  4. Okay i really need help on this one. My throttle keeps getting stuck and i have to quickly turn off the engine. The part at the end of the throttle cable that pushes into the bracket to hold the cable to it keeps sliding out to the left and getting hung up on the linkage to the choke plates. How can i prevent this? has anyone else had this problem? If I get this http://www.webercarbsdirect.com/product_p/101.099.htm would I be okay? edit: Gonna try a spot of duct tape for now edit: tape works awesome! Gonna do a more permanent solution sometime soon.
  5. The search function on forums are not the greatest. I am searching for stuff on them but not finding much.
  6. yeah i am gonna go to 140 primary 130 secondary jetting. and then bring the air jets down maybe? idk
  7. oops my bad i thought you were the one that posted kanury's post as well. anyways I don't think that my timing is bad and I have the disty hooked upt o the righ vacuum port on the weber
  8. I could swear there is already something plugged into that? but I will check again tomorrow. It has a lot more power which I like. and sounds beautiful. But tuning is annoying... and I am interested to see how my gas mileage becomes
  9. this!? and do i need to plug the asv or can i leave it open? I think it kinda sounds cool?
  10. I am confused what you are telling me to do
  11. it shows no oil pressure. I don't know how to adjust timing? I am running main 130 secondary 135, air primary 200, secondary 190, idle main 50 secondary 45. Is the ASV causing any harm cause I kinda like the sound vacuum advance?
  12. FUSE! good thinking. gonna go check now edit: nope! dang what else could it be?
  13. but it happened when i replaced the carb?
  14. asv's? but my oil pressure gauge says i have no oil pressure? and I just re jetted it to make it way leaner? that black soot is from before
  15. just re jetted and it idles better. But when i hit the gas pedal abruptly from idle the car actually dies, as if it is not getting enough gas? i only stepped down one size. ay yi yi. this is annoying. ahaha so am I running too lean?
  16. both of those are plugged in?! and it still shows no pressure
  17. So i just put in my weber carb and everything is good, still need to rejet (running a tad rich) but it says i have no oil pressure. I think the cable for the sensor came unplugged but im not sure. Where is the sensor and what does the wire look like/ where does the wire come from. I have a spare wire hanging out over by the oil cap but i cant find where it goes and the oil pump (or what i think is the oil pump) down by the oil filter already has a wire plugged into it?
  18. Got the jb weld on. not super smooth but tomorrow I will just sand/ file it smooth hopefully this fixes it. Will i be able to put my carb on tomorrow morning at like 9?
  19. Bumping this thread. Cause i am wondering if I can get this http://www.jegs.com/i/Cherry-Bomb/545/16804/10002/-1?parentProductId=769809 cut off right in front of my muffler put a 1-7/8" adapter to 2" and use this guy?
