  1. so i put a diff lock 5speed dual into my 89 gl-10 4speed auto wagon, and i have about 20-30 wires coming from the car and like 8-9 wires coming from the trans, any body got a clue on how to mate them, and also how do i wire the diff lock, i have the switch and all the vacuum stuff, and wires coming from both, but dont know what to hook to what?????
  2. turns out that the rear shock off a 67 chevelle fits the rear of a lifted hatch without using the spacer, same ends as our shock, just 4" longer, and only 20 bucks for a gabreil sport shock, i havnt driven with this shock yet, as the rebuild is a couple of weeks away from being done, but looks good
  3. can i get a parts brake down i want to put rear disc on my 83 lift ea81 wagon
  4. used jdm 01 wrx non abs vavle, dont ask me how i got it, but it works perfect
  5. well almost, the car.....95 subaru impreza l AWD 2.2 automatic coupe the way it came, small single piston tiny rotor fronts and drummers in the rear what bolted right in, 2002 wrx brakes all round, w/ brembo rotors and ebc pads 01 JDM wrx proportining valve 94 2WD non abs svx master cylinder, factory resivour and booster the result finally im taxing my dunlop fm 901 tires the brakes are insane with about 1/2 inch pedal travel total great feel and no fade after hours of hard driving in the moutains total cost is around 1200.00 i did all the work myself cost is dependent on how much you can get the wrx stuff for total install time is only 3-5 hours depending on motavation next i want to do SS brake lines and i think the brakes are done i thought about a big brake up grade but dont want to have a 17" wheel i like the 16's
  6. ok so i used a 94 svx(2wheel. no abs) master cylinder and a wrx proportining valve, and now i got insane brakes, all this is on wrx brakes all round with ebc green stuff pads all around, im also using brembo cross drilled rotors all round too, the pedal travel is about 1/2 inch total, with lockup only happening with wheel skip on bumps, the rump roast end isnt locking up early anymore

  8. i have a 95 l impreza 2.2 awd, i have put wrx brakes on all around, is there a better master cylinder to use, the 01 rs has the same bore so its no improvement, i dont know if i can use wrx one, does anybody know how to get better pedal feel and more front bias out of the brakes?????? also my steering rack is shot, is there a better one that will fit with a quiker ratio to it, is an rs rack better, will it fit, does anybody know these answers??? email me at tatum@adelphia.net thanks also im still looking for rs hood, f/bumper cover and beam, hood hinges, and 97+ headlights, and gt rims cheers
  9. motor is a block up rebuild, carb block w/60k new heads, oil, water, belts and timing belts, all gaskets, mpfi fuel injection, shaved heads, 2wd manual, new axles, brakes, no rust, maroon, front clip/radiator/driverseat not availible, located in central virginia, all parts dirt cheap, email me direct at tatum@adelphia.net

  13. i need a couple of things, does anybody have a wiring diagram for the 88 4speed auto full time AWD, and the wiring diagram for the 87 rx d/r w/difflock, im mating them up and need to do the wiring, also anybody have a factory 88 gl-10 turbo 4wd, i need to know where the vacuum hoses from the turbo control hook to the engine, also where does the rx get its diff lock vacuum feed off its engine, and does anybody have the wiring breakdown for the difflock, i have switch and a couple feet of the factory wiring harness, and i have the factory control sylinoids with some wire, also does anybody have a factory cruise control tank and cable, for a 88/89 turbo gl-10, thanks averybody, im hoping to have this rx/xt6/gl-10 wagon done for carlisle
  14. i know the xt6 is bigger, i have a spare spider intake i plan on boring out to take it, i have machining capabilities
  15. im thinking about just doing the ribbed belt thing anyway i have all the parts, and i have the marker and crank pulley, and waterpump ect, i will need the xt braket and shorter dogbone, and one of those short xt throttle cables
  16. so i got this spider intake from the 86.5? xt turbo, but i got everything together and relized that the upper dog bone mount will not fit becouse of the throttle body, i dont think there was a mount on the engine that i got, but i dont want to loose the dog bone mount, what do i do???????help
  17. im thinking of using a beck arnley from napa, beck lists a different number for the, xt6, diff from trubo/4wd/turbo4wd all have different part # so i assume that they are different and better as you go up the scale, and i know that beck/arn makes good sh*t called centerforce, they aint got ●●●●, and i know dealer wants 276 for an xt6 clutch, i can get the beck for 245, any opinions...
  18. im going to use an xt6 clutch in the rx/gl10 nad skip did his thing and added more clamping force the flywheel to so i should be able to do it
  19. im looking to do the conversion, as soon as i find a throttle to use
