im going to get the kit painted to match, or close, and im doing the toyota 6 lug thing and using 15"x 7" steel rim, painted black, and dunlop fm901 in a 205/55/r15, i have the same type on my impreza except 205/55/r16, and i love these tires,ii might modify the springs, by losing a coil, and xt6 sways bars if i can get a set and the best shock i can find, maybe a kyb gr2 hopefully, i got the engine on the stand now, just doing seals and valve cover, oil pan my motor is solid with only 25k original, im building something stupid to go in but i will not be done with that for a couple of months, im still looking for ideas on a solid clutch, is oem a safe bet ??

well i have my limits, but my wagon motor is going to be mostly stock, i may get the spider on, but i dont have the money to finish my hi power engine, i may try, but i dont think i can afford it right now, i do still need xt6 sways and throttle body, any help out there on these 2 items, and does anybody have an opinion on beck-arnley clutch, its like 250.00 but is for turbo 4wd, and they do make good parts, also i need a front c/v shaft, either good or needing boots, and a manual digi dash too, a good driver seat, as the one from the rx is trashed, gotta go

well heres the details, the outer spring diameter is diferent, the leangth is different, maybe thay do fit but not right, may be rattles or rubbing, i have kyb agx adjustables with whiteline springs, on a 95 impreza l 2.2 auto, and she rides great, now i need strut tops ecouse the stiffer ride wore them out, and now the clunk on ocasion, i payed 200 for the springs, new, i know that the wrx has longer shock travel and longer springs, they are a lot stiffer springs becouse of the heaveir car, i would not try wrx spring becouse i know they wil be a little different, and i am a perfectionist

i have the kyb's, and i ordered whiteline springs, well i got the wrong springs, they sent me wrx springs, and i tell you i had a bad day that day, of course i got the right springs, and it all worked out but becouse of this i am rpobley the only one who knows, wrx parts are different then our 93-01 impreza's

likeall the way down to the gears, i got a auto apart, took the front diff and pinion, the output shafts are larger, but im having hell getting this dual range apart, im going to modifi the center diff and try to put a phantom grip front lsd in, i also wanted to clean up the cases and get them painted, and change all the seals, ect, anybody got any experience in this manual teritory thanks jules tatum

i recently aquired the rs seats from meeky mouse, svxexpert had modifeid them to fit in the hatch(they DO NOT FIT IN A HATCH) to make them fit, he unbolted the inside bottom seat frame, well i got them thinking that my 95 seats would be the same, they are not, so i need the bottoms from another set of seat to make it work, i think any 01 or newer seat will work, from impreza, so if any body has some old seats, i need the bottoms or just the inside frame pieces

my 95 impreza coupe sat the same way, the lowering springs i got from whiteline corrected that, that waas my main reason for getting the springs, i believe that the impreza suspension is acctually set up like that, i have a 98 outback sport that sat the same way before i added the same whiteline springs and it sat level again, just my experience, i may be delusional though

xt fan problem

thanks skip, when it thaws down here ill look into it i am having problems finding a replacement switch in case that one is bad........ -
so the car isnt runnning hot but the electric fan isnt running, the a/c is working but the fan still will not run, gave it 12v and it spun right up, i cant find a short, can the switch in the radiator prevent the fan from running, i thought the a/c made the fan run no matter what, this is my only running problem with this engine, and a manual switch is out of the ?, this thing needs to take care of it self, becouse the girl that drives it is unfornatly clueless, she allready cooked one motor, and didnt even notice the guages pegging out, any ideas what to look for

im doint 2 auto to manual swaps right now, on my 95 impreza, and on my 89 gl-10 wagon, the impreza was 2.2 to start with, and soon to be a 2.5, the swap doesnt seem to bad, dont know if im going to run into ecu issues or not, im using a wrx 5mt with a kaz center lsd and a sti front lsd, also using an cobb gearset, with wrx rear lsd(already in) i got the parts from 99 rs that i gutted to do the front end swap, so i got pedals shifter and cros members all that **** from the rs, using cartboy short shifter, everything bolts in, that i know, but i might have to use the rs ecu to get the car to work, but thats fine i want to swap the dash out for the rs one, and then i can swap the entire chassis and engine harness over to the 99 spec rs stuff, and then i can drop in the 2.5 motor

found the wire from the selinoid to be cut in the harness, fixed wiire fixed problem, took me 11hours to find and fix problem though, and i was lucky my custamer didnt care, it cost a fortune to fix 1 wire, i nearly had the transmision out before finding it, was up near the connector at the engiine, inside the housing cover of the wire harness, looked cut clean but the housing was untouched, anyway theres my 2 bits

to anybody that cares, ive done the following mods to my 95 impreza 2.2l awd, all mods done personally, not by a shop, in my driveway, if there are any questions or help needed just shoot me an email, so on with the list.......kyb agx struts, whiteline springs, swaybars(24mm), endlinks, 2.5rs exhuast(catless), sti aluminum front a arms, kartboy steering bushings, hiem joint steering endlinks, outback(2.5)big tank intake and k&n cone filter, sti strut tops front and rear, front and rear strut top stress bars, lx folding rear seat, recaro seats from VW, highrise center console, 99 rs front end conversion, rs skirts and rear wing, wrx front brakes and legacy wagon rear disk brakes, ebc greenstuff pads all round, wrx rims, dunlop fm901 205/50/16,soon to come drift front bumper(ordered and waiting)mild stereo with sub built into rear seat bulkhead with trunk, optima battery, ground wire kit,alteza black housing tail lights, clear markers and korners, wrx rear lsd, re-geared to match my transmision, soon to come, manual 5speed( my car is currently a auto)from wrx with lsd froont and centers, and a 2.5l high compression engine(winter projects)

getting exhuast fixed and the lifter seems to be quiting down -
will pay shipping, milage doesnt matter, im rebuilding no matter condition, need for the monster wagon project

i used to do the cooter for my dodge shelby, would be fun to see ben agian, if im not in my driveway working on one of my soobs then ill be there, i usually catch up as the cruise passes by, as driving to manassas and thenm back is a bitch, buit sperryville is closer to me than manassas, so me and my impreza might be there

minor cracks but not bad, not the kind that ruin them, would gladly sell i ve been told these minor cracks are common i do have 2 good sets of gen 3 and could be interested into selling or trading
