well #3 is a egr valve and it does exactly what you said it does. and if you don't need to pass emissions I would take it off and throw it in the trash and just make a block off plate.

the wheels are still white this picture just makes them look brown. and I cut coils and removed the adjuster bolts on my strut to drop the perch down a little bit.

lowered this old girl a little:)my good man can you please tell me how you lowered the front of your wagon thank you!hmm maybe just try a little impact action lolit looks like there is a locking collar on the nut. so the lip on the nut is pressed on the shaft to keep it from backing off.my 82 wagon is running a stock y-pipe gutted cat and is straight piped all the way back to a stinger tail pipe from a VW. It really gets your attentionthat brown wagon is now this wagon the current owners name is mike appel. but he didnt lower it to begin with and i know he has reworked the suspension some but he still might know somthing about it.i just unhooked my lines from the clipsI just got done putting on my BOSS 4'' lift! i painted mine with rustoleum high performance enamel. keep up the good worki pm'd you but im not sure if it went through but if you still have a 4'' kit for a ea82 5-speed i'll take iti saw this rally edition hatch at pick n pull today and i thought it was pretty cool kinda sad to see it there though.painted my wheels:cool: the 82 is lookin good what do you guys think?i'll be thereok well this may be important for anyone who is doing a weber swap on a car the had a carter carb turns out a hitachi throttle cable is longer than one for a carter wich wont reach the weber... who knew?ok so got my weber and got it on but i have one problem...my throttle cable isnt long enough? this car had a carter carb and the throttle cable hooks on the oposite side of the carb so do i need a different throttle cable like one that was for a car with a hitachi? are they longer?does anybody have the part number for the redline kit off ebay?ya i heard that i already grabbed a hitachi intake off an ea81 at pick and pull so now i just need the carb and adapter.ok so i need to get a weber...what one should i get just the 32/36 off ebay? anybody had any luck with that?its raining so i have pretty much been inside all day with my Dremel tool cleaning my intake arsenal of tools... and i polished my thermostat housing:cool:
