  1. ditto on that..since the engine is allready out of the car replace your seals, and timing belts,... you could also maybe port or mill your heads, get cams, etc while its out get a little more HP
  2. well after owning 2 spfi motors, putting a free flow cone filter will help alot..some people disagree with me. but after i put my old intake on my coupe, i noticed a difference
  3. well i just wanted to make sure you didn't have an EA82 or something..I'll let someone else chime in reagarding the motor as im not that familiar with the justy. but im am 90% sure it will fit as there were no major changes to the justy during it's span,
  4. well first question ... is your car a justy?
  5. now you have a dual purpose bumper. It'll be great for when you have to take a s**t in the woods
  6. correct me if im wrong but they were only avaolable on the 85 and 86 4dr rx's.. i believe it's leaters outside, and a type of suede(sp) in the middle.. oh I forgot, they have height control and a 3 position lumbar support
  7. they were from an 85 4dr RX and no. I'll pass on the $20
  8. do the 85 rx 4 doors have the special dampening rear shocks? and if so can someone post a part # for the unit(tokicos right?) so i am able to check if they are real or a stock replacement from another ea82.
  9. well as i was in the junkyard getting a seatblet clip ( so i don't die) i came across a sight that made me yell out in joy..it's one of the reasons im glad to have a credit card.. i found the most MINT set of checkered RX seats.. only one little tear, bolsters are tight and foam is like brand new..i franticly ran to get a wheelbarel (sp?). hoarding the car all to myself I removed the seats in record time. looks like im more in debt. but hey they were only $30 for the pair!
  10. maybe this is the route i need to go with the wagon???
  11. i used to run 195 70 13 on my wagon.. the coupe has the cheapest tires on it..155 70 13!!!
  12. sorry, it just sounds funny when you say it aloud 7+2=9
  13. hahah i think only jwx noes whats going on... i personally like my retro 50's version.... DIACMA
  14. since tranny fluid is not changed very often i would suggest spending the extra $$ and use some Redline oil.
  15. well i found the mirror plate and sprayer at a yard plus the corner trim for the windsheild for $2 however my alternator just completly went out tonight...
  16. are backs to the rear 50/50 seats of a coupe the same as a wagon?? they look exactly the same, but i dont have two to compare.
  17. thats the same problem with mine..last time i was in eugene we had it running for a little. fumes were coming out my breather filter and it was purkalating <--?
  18. no they do not. as far as the top part of the front doors go.. the 85's had the side mirrors mounted to the door, the later ea82's had them mounted in the window part. they are different. ..i learned this the hard way when i replaced one of mine..i had to dremmel out a long chunk off the 85 one
  19. i wil find out prices in a month..they more ordered, the cheaper i can get them.. Edit by shadow: Message Board searchers, the apaters for EA82 cars are not available, but it has been discovered that Legacy or Impreza steering wheel adapters are compatible. This should allow you to mount any type of steering wheel you like to an EA82 car.
