  1. it took me forever to find one used....almost settled on the hybrid because the ebay special price of a new stealth is $275.00:eek:
  2. just like to share my new toy with you all. i just got a GFB stealth BOV. it has adjustable spring tension for the valve. and unlike the Hyrbrid model which is a 50/50, this has a FULLY ajustable knob for for plumb back and vent. 10/90 30/70 60/40 etc...
  3. you just need a 90* bend from the throttle body to the intercooler.
  4. well the "kill 2 birds with one stone" way would be to add a wrx IC. this way you get an intercooler and a bpv
  5. i think you have to much free time! . sounds cool though. who wants to be the guinea pig??????
  6. well im really scared to see what this one comes back as:-\ ...it's for the jetta so don't hate to much. thanks, in advance 3VWSA81H8VM041956
  7. yes the spfi has the highest CR. mudrat79 and I are both running carb blocks with all the turbo top end stuff. this setup gives you more low-end and more "power" with stock boost.as compared to having to jack the boost way up.
  8. if it is an xt6 you're in luck! any impreza/legacy/forester alloy or steel wheel will fit. also gives you option of going to a factory 15" or 16" rim and a lower profile tire for better performance
  9. with some advise from corky i had cvaxles build me a set of xt6 ones with 23 inner DOJ #95lac
  10. sorry to high jack: caleb, you can get thoose cheap impreza strut bars off ebay and get it to work....alot of them are semi-universal as it has adjusting nuts for width and base/rod angle. the better ones are not adj. and will not fit.
  11. hey better get a hold of me when you're here. prob going to be at crescent lake that weekend.
  12. well on the internet i came across an old pic of my car. man o man it looks like it's lifted, compared to now. i thought it was funny. before(a loooong time ago) after
  13. congrats too!!! does this mean a big sale:brow: :brow: ????
  14. the first block was out of a parts car. the oil pump and ALL seals were replaced and the boost was still at the factory setting and it was intercooled. my guess is that there was a problem with the block to start out with. <<<_______________>>>
  15. well on tuesday night got a ride over to eugene to pick up my car. got the rear axle replaced headed on my way. well just to add to my bad luck i was going 75-80 and noticed i had really low oil pressure. then came the lifter noise and....CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK:banghead: got my car towed and inspected the damage the next morning. i threw a rod and put a 7"x4" hole in my block!!! (i will post pics later tonight) there was big chunks of my block everywhere and I tore the pistons up to all hell so that put me in a nice delima with the show being this weekend. so last night randy and justin helped sooooo much by helping me to quickly yank my motor and strip it down to the short block. being an awesome guy that he is, Mike is letting us take the motor out of one of his wagons. this will gaurentee us a running block. i had to take grayhound back to bend this morning to work and will go back to finish up the car tonight. then drive back to bend and head up to HR tom. SO EVERYONE the rx wagon will be there but i doubt it will be all pretty and still be missing all the dash trim:)
  16. yeah i leave tonight to go pickup my baby. hey at the show i think it would be cool if the tallest EA82 wagon was parked next to mine! john took a pic of nell's wagon head to head with mine, with my bimper UNDER his. it looked pretty awesome have the complete opisite's next to each other. *john, you should post that pic*
