  1. Looks like you were cramming those tires a little worse than me!
  2. Thats kind of what i figured for the rear. i was going to try a few different angles and see what worked the best if noone knew the angle. Ive been looking at pics of many different kits and it looks like most of the lift consists of dropping all the major mounts and crossmembers. Is that right?
  3. I know, I couldn't even flex her out as much as she could. I just got all the materials needed to build one. I'm a bit uncertain about the rear though. I don't know what angle to bend the rear at
  4. You've got yourself a gorgeous car. You must have really done some research when doing all this being your first subie. Sweet car, Sweet build, cant wait to see more
  5. Had it our backroading today. Thought itd be a good time to do a nice posing shot
  6. PVC was my original plan but I have all the steel pipe I need to do it. I thought about tapping into that stock plastic thingy but it leaked real bad. The only problem with using the existing hole in the air box for that tube is that its ovaled. It'd be real hard to work with unless I capped it off. Which I might try
  7. The bucking problem youre having, is it all the time or only before it warms up?
  8. Thanks. The Michigan rust def helped me in the clearance area...but its spreading. Undercoating and spray on bedliner have became a close friend with this car. :-p Thanks too. Thatd be pretty sweet. If im ever around your area I'll have to let ya know and stop in. I need some ideas. I'm working on a snorkel right now but im having issues with the stock airbox. I dont really have anywhere to place my pipe into the airbox. The only area that is a possibility is the existing oval hole in the back from the stock thing and there is a small(very small) flat spot on the side closest to the firewall.
  9. I would also like to know the length and angle the rear lift plates are
  10. The car is now alive and back on the road! Not perfect yet, still needs some tinkering.
  11. I really didn't intend on going over there today but they were the only yard I've found in the state of Michigan and I really need them. Ill def let you know when I take another trip there. That red loyale is the one I took the hub and axle from. That's also the one I plan on getting the hood and hatch from. I didn't see any ea81s but I didn't look a whole lot. Mostly ej's. What's your car need? I can keep my eye open for any ea81s around here.
  12. Just made the 210 mile drive to Joe's Auto Parts. Finally got the new hub and axle possibly a new hood and hatch too soon.
  13. I don't have any. I'll post some as soon as I can get it out of the garage. Hopefully it wont distort the sound on the camera
  14. Makes sense to me. Now the hunt for a hub. My local deal fell through on one
  15. I know it! I'm sure glad he did. What's the reason for placing the washer like that?
  16. Got the nuts and washers I needed. Thanks again Tom
  17. Got my rear brakes done today and my new tailpipe on. Turns out my neighbors dont like a straight piped subaru with a 3" tailpipe [/img]
  18. However, i do think the 5 lug swap would be cool cuz i like alot of the aftermarket wheels you can get but no matter the wheel, you wont get that mean look that im striving for with the 6 lug
  19. Ooohhhh alright. That makes alot more sense now. Ya I'm just swapping the hub plates. I had one all stripped out
  20. Sorry so many questions I just dont wanna buy the soemthing that wont work
  21. So if i baught some turbo hubs theyll work?
  22. Thanks man. I put alot of time into building it. LOL no thats not a bullet hole, i do get asked that alot though. Being a Michigan car, its another one of those wonderful rust holes that give this car character. There is one in the hatch that looks like its been shot by a cannon. ill post a pic of that one soon
