  1. As I was reading, that's exactly what I was thonking - mixed up the firing order.
  2. Calebz, are our wives related?
  3. Power to the fuel pump?
  4. Welcome to the board. I don't think you're going to find anyone who will guarantee you are not going to have any problems with any vehicle in 150k miles of use. Things break, and unless regular PM (preventative maintenance) is done religiously, things will go bad, but with that said, Subaru is one of the most reliable cars made. I drive a 1983 Brat with 149K on the odo, my wife has a 96 Legacy with 190K, and my son has a 92 Legacy with 120K on it. Aside from routine things like brake rotors and pads, tune ups and tires, we haven't had much in the way of problems on any of the vehicles. There was a factory recall on the alternator of the 96 Legacy, and a quirk with something plastic in one of the oil journals, but just regular PM done, and our stuff is doing fine. The early 2.5's were notorious for head gasket problems, but I believe Subaru has remedied that problem. My .02, but you may want insight from someone with a newer vehicle than mine.
  5. Torxxx, how much did the new clutch kit cost you, and where did you get it? I'll be l;ooking for one in the near future.
  6. It looks like the plastic tip applicator of a certain brand of tampon.
  7. Too bad about the break in. My rule is never put in a stereo that costs more than $250. I doubt that one would want to spend the time to rip off a stereo that they can't get more than $50 from a pawn shop.
  8. Keep your eyes open; they pop up all of the time. Welcome to the board.
  9. If I lived ther, I'd go buy a used one from a pull-a-part.
  10. That was a sweeter Brat than mine (until I get my new mods installed).
  11. Check out Snowman's "Roxanne".
  12. When was the last timing belt change? Keep up with maintenance - t/belt change, oil and filter... - and you should get 250k or more. Welcome to the board.
  13. After 8 years, my wife's interior rear compartment still looks pristine even though we have a dog and carry a ton of things there. This is due to her initial purchase of the floor mat/ tray from Subaru right off the bat. It's worth the investment.
  14. Go with the cheapest fix first - get some heet, as Jerry said and see if that does it. HNY.
  15. Roll or not, it's a precarious angle. I say floor it!
  16. The 2.2 motors are pretty stout and durable motors. You'll like it. To contact Chef tim, click on the members section, then go to "c" (chef tim). Locate his name, click on it, and pm him or send him an email. He and Vick are great people.
  17. Sounds like 3 new doors, or why would the car be wired for electric windows in the first place?
  18. Is it the 2.2 or 2.5 engine? You're not too far from Chef Tim and Vickaroo. Introduce yourself. It sounds like a tranny seal leak? Check the transmission fluid level.
  19. You can buy a brand new set at Costco for under 2 bills. If he's a buddy and you can get some payback in the future, you might just want to give them to him for a bail-out or parts in the future. Build some karma. If not, hit him up for 125.00
  20. Welcome to the board. You will want to meet Moosens. He lives just down the road from you.

I also like the fact that by buying Ozified, we're supporting a board member, looking out for one of our own. An additional $75 for a tried and true product is pretty inexpensive in my book.
  22. Cool, Kelowns B.C. is the closest. If I start now, I'll get there just in time.
