  1. actually, i was kinda hoping somebody would offer me $5-10 for 'em in the seattle area
  2. read last post!! well, have the brown seats that came with the subie to dispose of...umm, where do i go? cant throw them away in our apt dumpster as there are cameras, any suggestions?? they are actually in pretty good shape except for some smooshing of the left bolster(sp) on the drivers side....
  3. if i tell you i will have to kill you no pics till i replace the fenders.....
  4. thanx a bunch to andy for not only dropping off the gl10 seats but installing them also! and installed them a heck of a lot faster then i could have and thanx for tipping me off to a top secret accessory he is developing for all ea82 owners..he gonna be a millionaire
  5. no pics yet, wanted to wait till if replace the fenders at least
  6. i might if i can figure out how to fix the one that needs some persuasion to close...use to know the trick but have forgotten it over the years...
  7. well, now that is passed emissions its official...got an 86 carbed 4wd d/r wgn with 121K....new timing belts/new clutch/new water pump/new tires/ needed some suspension work done thanx to the woman's son falling asleep at the wheel, said work was mostly done by, who else but ed the gracious!! still needs an alignment of course but paid only $250 for it...which i think is a pretty good deal...needs some cosmetic stuff such as fenders and i have a list which i will post on the classified section.....even came with two cargo covers and oh, a brand new lifetime muffler from midas i am one happy camper i tell ya..
  8. ok, have done the search thing and there doesnt seem to be a consensus about how much modding is needed to fix xt6 seats into an 86 wgn....i am looking for comfort, and anyone who knows me knows i aint small have had gl10 seats before and i like the tilt headrest and the adj up/down feature but was wondering about the xt6 seats and or imprezza/legacy ones...the least modding the better thanx!
  9. scott in bellingham you got a pm
  10. my issues have been coming fine if someone wants one that's no longer available i can send it to them for the price of shipping and the envelope ..... and i dont know, page 23 seems kinda average to me seriously, nice...very very nice "chux"
  11. are there any carb alternatives to the one that is oem on an 87 d/r wgn? i know you do a weber on the ea-81's but dont know about the ea-82's...thanx!
  12. 1996 outback goodyear triple tred assurance...they have been superb in this seattle rain
  13. i got a couple of sets of subaru bolts with subaru printed on them and in blue.....guaranteed 5 h.p.!!
  14. jon i thought the body looked pretty good along with the paint...missing the exterior parts of the rear window wiper...interior had the drivers seat with i guess the normal rips ....rear cargo area had some stains in it but nothing terrible...i wasnt paying as much attention as i should have since i was too concerned about the pedal situation...but in my opinion its well worth the $300...
  15. brats will take you up on your offer as soon as i find a subie the one i was looking at also had a bad right front cv and no rear bumper and no p.s., while the price was certainly more then fair i simply cant afford to be fixing stuff right after i buy it...i need to have one that is good to go from day one with additional help needed down the road for cosmetic issues(bumper) but not other ones(cv), and of course, am concerned about the comfort of the ea81 seats till i can sit in more of them...that's why i might just have to go back to ea82's which i have driven over 750 thousand miles and feel very comfortable in them.. will have to seen what comes my way i guess alan
  16. hmm, maybe i will have to try out a couple more then, it could just be a result of the peripheral neuropathy i have in both my feet also, i do know that when i sat in the ea81 i was closer to the wheel then i am in my outback...
  17. drove an 82 wagon today and even with the seatback all the way back it was still too close to the accelerator pedal and even with a short 5minute test drive my ankle and leg really hurt...are all the ea81's like this or do other seats fit that would enable me to move them back farther or am i going to have to find that cheap xt6 or ea82??
  18. was wondering at what age does a car have to be before you can get a waiver for testing? is it 20 years old?
  19. cool!! so now we have white/black and maroon
  20. yeah, the one i saw was all white....
