Awesome XT! I can't wait to drag my XT6. -
I've never heard of a trail cleanup. It is a great idea. It shows the hippies that we still care about the woods. Have fun. Maybe some pics of the BIG rigs would be cool.

Colors. what have you owned? What's common?

Good rim and tire choice. Although you could find some six lug rims at a local junkyard for cheap then just polish them up. I got an Ozified 3/3in kit and I have 215/75/15 tires basically 28in. I would rather have 27s though(less rubbing and trimming). As for lift kit install, I installed my rear end, then had my mechanic install the front. You can install it yourself, but give yourself a few days just incase bolts are really stuborn. Your gonna need WD40 on a lot of the bolts. Make sure whatever machine shop you take your hubs to for redrilling you bring them these pictures. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=40196 Might want to get a weber carb too. Good Luck.

To bad I dont have a drag strip near me, because I'd be there all the time. -
Not bad. Eventhough that rear tire is off the ground.

What model subaru do ya have? -
Gnarly. I try not to hit a mud pit too hard so that it doesnt shoot mud into my engine bay. I actually have yet to get mud in my engine (knock on wood). I have gotten plenty of water in my engine from really deep water crossings.
-
Too funny. Seriously how did that happen?
-
No leaks. I havent had my timing adjusted. I calculate by seeing how many gallons I get, then on the trip o meter see how many miles i go.

I've been trying to figure out why I'm getting such horrible gas milage. I even had my mechanic tune the carb and try to find a way to get better milage. He leaned out the carb a bit, but still horrible milage. Any suggestions?

That's such a cool shirt -
1. My car is from 1981. 2. It's carburated from1981. Eventually I'm gonna get an EJ20T. For now I got an XT6 on the way!

I'm getting around 9mpg. Really sucks. But I have a new subaru on the way.
-
I was wondering what everyone else has on their xt6 for rims. I want to get some 5 spoke rally type rims. Maybe enkei or BBS. Anybody have suggestions on where to got them or what kind to get?

Many a time have I seen water come over the hood. Subarus can swim. I've swam mine while it was stock. Heres a picture of my friend swiming his stock suby. I swam mine so hard that the carb was hydrolocked and the distributer had water in it, but it still ran. Plus I had to go through the water crossing again to get back through. Still ran, just really crappy.

I've been taking only a video camera with me camping lately so I don't have newer pics, but I'll make sure to take the camera with me next time.

Yep. I also still have all the videos off their website.
