Lift block bolt?
I stripped one of my torsion bar lift block bolts. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get one. I allready checked the local hardware store and they didn't have it. How much would it cost to have a machine shop make me a new one?

wont go into reverse easily anymore since lift.
It works fine now that it's fixed. The problem was my shifter was so worn out and loose that when you moved the stick it would barely move the actual linkage.

He installed the front. I did the rear. Before my lift all my gears worked fine, but they were very sloppy.

I got some 215/75/15 Hankook MT RT01. Only 84.00 bucks a piece. http://www.wholesaletireoutlet.com/wto/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=14&products_id=126&osCsid=86bb7d33775f498373e670745b729240

I went to a mechanic and did the sloppy shifter fix. Now it works fine. I can actually feel my gears now. Before you could shift it and there would be soooooo much play in the shifter. soobmater: I just ordered my tires yesterday. Now I just have to get a six lug swap and an alignment.

wont go into reverse easily anymore since lift.
I got my 3in lift in, but now it wont go into reverse easily. sometimes it'll go in and sometimes It just wont do it at all. It just go to 4th gear. Since my body is higher than the tranny it's harder to put it in, is it because the plastic trim around the stick shift is restricting it from going far enough over to get into reverse. That shouldn't matter though because it goes in sometimes just fine.

You can find cheap hotel in Bozeman, which is right before billings. Maybe we could meet up for dinner.

4X4 snow choice
I rally ice in 4lo because the wheels pick up speed faster.(lower ratio) They don't get up as much speed, but they wind up faster. Ice is so much fun in a suby.

Lifting an EA81 having problems.
I got the rear done, but now going on to the front how do I get the steering shaft off? I took off the 12mm bolts on the part where the shaft comes down and joins with the other shorter shaft. It moves a little but not enough to get out. Do i replace the short shaft that goes in to the steering rack or do I replace the shaft that you can see from looking down. please help

underseat sub/amps - opinions?
A DOG replied to Langdon's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXYou could always get a bazooka tube. It's not a subwoofer, but it makes a good amont of bass, and it doesn't take up barely any space.

Is this too low?
It does look good with it lowered, but you don't want to comprimise handling and performance just so it can be lower. Raise it just enough so that you can rally everything at anytime and not have to worry about screwing your tires. Plus subarus handle really well even if they're not lowered. That is one nice RX.

'Shaved' Brat [or any EA model]
That would be really cool to have a shaved brat. Maybe I should shave my little sister shes a brat.

What kind of tires should I get?
I know the perfect tire for ya. Pacemark Snowtraker. I've had these on my suby for a year now and they have never let me down. I have went through really gnarly mud and they pull right through. On road they handle very nice. And gravel is where they perform the best. Try and get 185/75/13. Anything bigger than stock.
