Ok, read up on that thread... Didnt actually find any info pertaining to simply using a ej25dohc block with my ej18 heads, seems like it should b ok, but i know that the ej25dohc blocks are of course interference so im trying to see if it will be straightforward bolt up or if its a guts job. any insight is awesome and makes you a crunchy subaru guru hahahaha

Im putting the 2.2 in my 1993 Impreza. So i am wondering who has done this? and does it work fine putting the EJ18 heads and intake on top of the EJ22? Im just looking to get better compression and better power out of a EJ22. I am planning on new timing belt kit, water pump, JDM racing lightweight flywheel, stage 1 clutch, cold air intake and open exhaust. Any info is very appriciated.

Lets see what I got here. I got more video than pics of my lifted wagon when i had it. NoahDL and I like in 2004 or something

I am thinking of doing this same EJ22 into EA82 swap. About how much did your swap cost and is it worth all the pain in the rump roast?

I am going to be putting in a 2.2 into my 1.8 Impreza soon. I know you can just keep the 1.8 intake manifold and just slap it onto the EJ22 bottom end. I need a stage 1 clutch kit for this swap because I plan on running some good power. Anybody have good suggestions for a performance clutch kit for the EJ22? I would love any suggestions for this swap. I am so excited to be building an impreza!!

I plan on getting it running and driving first. Replace clutch and get lightweight flywheel.(anybody know a good webiste to order them?) Replace front axles Im going with the KYB GR2 struts with 1.5in lowering springs all around. Replace Valve cover gasket and anything else leaking under the hood. THEN: Glossy Black paint job Gold or Silver 16in rims Projector headlights OBS hood with hood scoop and vents OBS front bumper or early version STI bumper RS Spoiler This is going to be the nicest subaru I have had yet. So im going to put a lot of time and money into it. i have always wanted and early version STI now I can build one.

Where did you get that? That is such a cool and much safer rear view mirror. Good luck on the build!

Damn nice skid plate. If you go fast enough you could skimmm over the top of a deep mudhole. Try hitting some deep snow at 30MPH and see if you sled on it. HHAHAHA:banana:

I had those exact 36in TSL SX tires on my 4runner for 2 years and they rule!! They do amazing in the mud and rocks. They do lack in the snow a little. Where are your beadlocks? hahahahah
