  2. came across this at scorpion automotive,it's got a EJ20T in it
  3. true indeed,i use to off-road were some trucks would get stuck cuz of their height an all.never got stuck(well to the point were i needed help getting out) unlike my 94 legacy which in counting have been beached acouple times in the snow(combination af snow an ice) found out you should always keep momentum going:rolleyes: / i do plan on lift though.will know this march
  4. (that walmart oil is most likely a rebadged oil) that's what i'v been using yrs an never had a prob, plus i use purolator oil filters.just did an oil change an noticed the oil filter was dated 1/9/04.now unless the oil was changed an not the filter, the oile that came out was over a yr old:eek: even with the old oil in it,it still ran fine but runs better now.
  5. :-\ some people need to lay off the crack if they don't then they should make sure they know what there talking about.(correct)
  6. you did look on the sides off the engine right, don't mean to sound sarcastic.on certain subie engines there about in the middle of the head and hard to get to.believe you have to go at them from underneath believe it of not. or you can lift the engine abit.:-\
  7. if i used a set of stock 14" steel wheels, anyone know what's the biggest tire i could get before i have to lift it? right now she has 175/70/14s on.(equals out to just under 24" tires) yup kinda small no wonder i got beached the other day on a small snow/ice pile. i'd do a trial an error fittment but no access to tire machine anymore.
  8. it's a good thing you own it an not me cuz i'd lose my license an probably get arrested by the way welcome to our world

you gotta love it when there's a special tool involved
  12. the reason i want the abs disconnected is that i've been driving for 12 yrs without it an never had a problem when it came to emergency situations..... guess i'm just SKILLED (or lucky) plus i noticed a weird noise coming from front bracks when it kicks in(kinda a screech or sqeak) who knows maybe normal but it doesn't sound normal an i don't like it,makes me think brack pads worn out.
  13. yah i figured just pulling the fuses. (btw cool site you got there,i remeber going there bk when i had my 92 leg couple yrs ago)
  14. my bad, could have sworn it was a brat still....... BAD MOVIE MAKERS!!!!! (it was a subie)
  15. i've had that happen a couple times, what i did was using a piece of wood an a hammer.place wood against edge of rim on back side an hit an roll wheel then hit,etc till wheel come off.of course have car on stands:rolleyes: . to prevent from having to do it again down the road, use something like anti-seize.(think that's the name)
  16. you always let your passenger drive??
  17. would i get the same affect on my 94 legacy gt wagon?? replacing the struts would be easier for me.

  19. all fixed,as it turns out the dealership had wrong spring, correct one would had been 15 bucks(special order). found one in salvage yard.it's in an working that's all i care about.
  20. callen the dealership, they said they sell everything separate.spring it self only $3.00 gonna pick it up tomorrow an gonna see about putting it in then.
  21. there was another movie with a brat in it, the movie was (the rundown),although it was a quick an sad scene. it was when the water tower fell near the end of the movie. it youy pause then paly it forward slowly you can see what it falling onto. ok maybe it's me but i could of sworn it was a brat.if it was then (bad movie makers)
  22. my 92 leg had a aerospeed universal muffler an i had a checked flag cone filter(cheap one). the combo sounded good,if i did it right i could set off car alarms as i drove by. my neighbors hated me.
  23. i've had my pioneer for about 3 yrs now(gonna have to fix that) and only prob is a dead battery in my remote.though if you go aftermarket i'd change speakers to ones that'll handle more wattage,i've blown a couple speakers with my 200w radio:grin: .i'm working on a new system now-involves same radio for now,a 250w sony explode amp and a dual bandpass sub box with jensons in it.hope it sounds decent.
