    tracked subie

has anyone ever consider mattrack system instead of tires.now i'm not trying to give a sales pitch or anything.not able to load pic cause i reached my limit of 1 pic a day,but here's the link to their site.http://www.mattracks.com i think it would be cool to see a tracked subie.
  4. had same prob with my 86 gl wagon, although it ended up being a bad tire(was worn at an angle) not sure if it would be any help but how's alignment?
  5. it's still around,just replied to it.it's in marketplace
  6. i have a 94 legacy with 143,000 miles on her and running like a bull/i couldn't be happier. DO IT!! DO IT!!
  7. [i can't imagine a 1700 lb car with 150-160 whp.] my opinion,that's be a blast
  8. not sure if they still have them but nopi.com had some cold air intakes for about 200. bucks.haven't been there for about a month or so.http://www.nopi.com click e-cat then go from there.
  9. gonna have to check out the blinker thing cause the day it started to make the noise i had trouble with the left blinker(need to put left on to start car, some type of anti-thief devise put on by prev owner) sat there for about 20 mins tring to get it to start, finally did an then CRUNCH!! will let you know what it was.
  10. unless your driving a justy(did they come 4wd?)
  11. well if your radio area is anything like my 94 legacys,it's easy. first pull out an remove the cup holder.you should see two screws that would have been behind were the cup holder went in,remove those and the molding around the radio should come off.before pulling that off remove ashtray or you might have a mess(if you smoke an have ashes in there of course)just about as you have the molding off, your gonna have a wire harness going to the ashtray for the light.easy disconnect.once you have molding around radio removed/on my radio there's about 6 screws holding the radio in(4 in the front,1 on either side towards rear.undo those then carefully disconnect wiring harness from back of radio and remove antenna wire. unless there's a wire i forgot about, you have just removed a radio. this is what mine looked like when i had mine out. hopefully your's is similar
  12. (Make sure you drain the oil and not the tranny fluid, as both have drain plugs.) yup oil pans in the front,or is that the back
  13. welcome wow she doesn't have alot of miles on her,are they all original?
  14. would outback struts do the job in my 94 legacy, would prob have to mod something though.
  15. as far as comparing the difference between factory an aftermarket radios. like you said factory will be exact fit, were as aftermarket requires installation an wiring kit.aftermarket does offer you better sound quality(that i notice)also you can get some cool functions like different display screens, colors, etc.for $300.bucks you could get a good quality head unit.myself i prefer pioneer but you might want to go to you local audio store and just play around with the display units.you don't want to go and pay x amount of money for a radio that might be confussing to operate.i work for walmart,in the auto dept and there are some radios that i'm not even sure how to fully operate.(guess that's what the operating manuals for) sony makes a nice unit that we sell for around $180 that's rated at putting out 208 watts. so far that's the highest wattage radio that i've seen. alot of the new radios out there put out enough power that you won't need an amp unless you want it REALLY loud or your planning on installing subs for bass, which you said you weren't gonna need. well hope i was some help.
  16. It dose require taking the airbag off of the steering wheel though i was told by a friend of mine that you can just remove the steering wheel, you gotta disengage the air bag.something like disconnecting the battery for like 5 mins. does anyone know exactly how to do it??
  17. subie94

    gnarly subaru

yup ,notice the back end?high mounted brake lights, incase you go off the road-example would be if you ever brake down(not in a subie) also found this at their site/pic of them installing lift on the subie(not on ej22,but think ea82)
  18. was just gonna say that, same thing happened to me awhile back in my gl-10 i had.
  19. sweet lookin leg,it hasn't been lowered yet had it.a nice 1.5 drop make it look even sweeter.not tring to knock it or anything though.
