i am so glad to hear how yours turned out cause i want to do the same on my 94 legacy gt. were the ob struts from a wagon or sedan??

hmm small world,i own a 94 legacy gt wagon. you have a auto or 5spd?do you have owners manual?it'll give you a idea were to look cause of the pics in it.

also in the engine bay.where the cable goes to the clutch.simple undo the two nuts(ones used to lock). that's all i know

i had a accident with my 86 gl wagon awhile bk.a volvo was the other car an guess which car was still running.? my gl was,of course it wasn't a head on but she pull out in front of me while i was going like 40mph.she cut across from my left side an i took off her front end bumper,radiator,etc. my car did hold up for the most part. the rad got pushed into the engine a'lil.guess cause i caught her with the front drivers side corner. maybe that's why my gl didn't get completely totaled but bad enough. oh yah don't sell,just wear your seat belt.i wasn't in my accident an i turned out ok.one think that i find funny now is that when i came to a stop,parts of her volvo was landing on my car an i stopped like 20 feet away from her.

only reason i suggested axle replacement instead of boot was cuze of a bad experience i had bk when i had my gl.cv joint was clicking an all then it started to mees with steering,when i'd be turning right for example it would bind up a pull the wheel out of my hands.

my 86 gl had a bad anti-backfire valve on it an so when ever i let off the gas when the engine was at about 3000...BANG!! just like a shotgun:banana: plus i was told that i had some flames coming out the back.so maybe it is the anti-backfire valve that's causing your troubles.

you say that the clutch pedal comes all the way out,is the cable moving also? maybe by some chance the cable binded up when it was depressed an the clutch is stuck when it was disengauged.well that's the only thing i can think of that would cause that.but then of course i've never been good at figuring out probs.:-\ also maybe the fork or throw out bearing hope you get her fixed/

well in my owners manual..it say that final gear ratio for rear reduction gear on autos are 3.900,it's the same for the front on autos 4.111 is for 5 spds front an rear final ratio. now i'm just going by what the manual says,don't hold me by it.

any pics of your testing it out?

i'd have to agree,one's just as good as the other.myself even though i love my 94 legacy gt wagon.i still yearn for my old 86 gl wagon with d/r 5 spd. guess i'll have to look for another one like it(cheap of course,hole in my wallet)

it won't last long.unless of course you like doing the same job twice you might be better off just replacing the shaft. split boots are good for temp repairs untill it can be fixed properly.

can't you just use the boats anchor to stop?

what % tint limit do you guys have where you are,here in n.h. it's like 35%. kinda sucks cause i wanted to completely go dark.do something like a limo look(only shorter)

ok this is weird,about 5 yrs bk someone busted the back window in my 86 gl wagon,near the cargo area,then a couple days later my other 86 wagon got it in on the bk door.i was starting to think that it may have been my ex :-\ or her new boyfriend. an both times nothing was taken.

if the rad is similar to my 94 legacys,stand in front,facing car an down on your left side of the rad there should be the drain valve.on some there's a small hose attached to it,make sure you aim good;) hope it helped.

closest thing to rice about it is the fact that the car makers name is jap :-p very nice,what is that 5% or 1%.i'm limited to only 35%

not meaning to hijack this thread,so does outback struts bolt right in .i'm sure i'll have to switch out the tops for the ones on my struts. i own a 94 legacy gt wagon an would like to give it a couple inches with out the lift.don't want to go that extreme yet.
