  1. i've heard that their oil is supposed to actually increase hp output by decreasing friction.:-\ who knows? it might be true
  2. i've been looking for a place to wheel too,but for me it'd have to be easy going atleast till i do the strut swap. back when i had my 86 gl wagon,i use to go up to(for me) clough state park.located in weare N.H. alot of dirt bike an atv trails.i use to have fun there.it's been awhile since i've been there,so i'm not sure how the trails are now. think maybe i'll take a ride up there to see, will come back an let you know.
  3. now when you seafoam the crank case? do you use it at oil change or add it anytime? found a place that sells it cheap i guess($6)
  4. me gots to get one, just gotta save money up.
  5. you got pic(s) of set up.been thinking the same here for my 94 legacy.
  6. the aftermarket one i had awhile back.i just opened up the radio. in my case it didn't matter if i damaged it cause i had lost the face for it an it would have cost more for a new face then it did for a completly new radio :-\
  7. this is what i did the other day, some reason took me like two hours. shortly after mounting them to bumper here's a close up of them this is where i mounted the switch downfall is the bulbs are only 20watt,will get changed
  8. SWEET compilation of clipscan just imagine what the complete collection looks like.
  9. well here's the up-date. as it's looking out to be is the parking brake cable or driversside parking brake assembly.it started to shake an vibrate,so i quickly jacked up the back end took off the wheel.took it all apart an noticed that the hub of the rotor was extremely hot to the touch.took it off with alittle trouble.all looked ok with the springs an what not.i backed the shoes off all the way,an no shake for now.gonna have to put some oil down the parking brake cable just incase that's the prob.so for now i won't touch the P/B
  10. rally light bar sorry don't mean to highjack anyone ever get one of these? thinking of getting one an was wondering how hard it it to install?
  11. hate to do this but i gotta say it's a no go to many people asked at work so now they're saying no to all that asks now.
  12. sweet!!! nothing better then busting butt to finish something your really want an to have it work out :headbang:
  13. congrats !!! good luck again with your new baby
  14. i feel your pain,my old 92 legacy did the same.it was partly, mostly my fault though.several weeks before i had changed out the plugs for a set of bosch plat plus four.i guess during install,i crossed the threads on one of the plugs. while going to a friends house one day all of a sudden it started to sputter along with this weird noise from the engine.i managed to pull off onto a side road.opened up the hood to take a look an it turned out that i blew out a plug.turns out it was the one that i crossed.needless to say i had to have her towed home cause she didn't want to run very good with 3 plugs in.had the plug hole fixed with a heli-coil kit.course it took a couple days cause one-i never had to do it an two-had to wait for a guy from the dealership to come by(a friend of a friend of mine that works at a subie dealer)
  15. i like how they named each one of the subies engine noise(helga, etc)
  16. well good luck on saturday with the tow an all, have you decided to go with abby for her name? i think i'll go with bert.that's another nick name that my grand-ma went by.not to mention it's shorter.
  17. question.what's the diff between a glf an a gl. prob a silly or stupid question but as to where i've only dealt with gl,gl-10,dl an legacy along with a loyale. i just recently heard some of yah mention glf. on the naming thing(ok 2 questions) how do you come up with some of them.for the life of me i can't think of one that fits my subie.only name i could think of was (bernie) which was my grandmothers nick name.short for bernice. does she look like a bernie? gonna have to find out g-mothers personality an see if there the same.
  18. as of right now,i'm on my 7th one.there must be something good about them cuz when it comes to cars,i'm VERY!! picky i think the reason i'd buy(bought) a subie is. 1-i find them alot easier to work on then some american cars i've worked on. 2-i find them fun to drive.i don't need much power to have fun(i wanna keep my licence, thank you) 3-and as someone once said to me(you can do just about anything in a subaru):-p the one thing that still might be the main reason that got me into subies,is at the time when i got my first one(back around 97)they had the image of being an underdog car company.since 97 i've only had one none subie, that was a 99 dodge avenger.worst mistake ever.
