  1. i had a 89 gl-10 sedan with air suspension/just had it replaced with regular spring struts when the air struts started to leak.after the change over/light came on,on dash for the ride height reature.guess cause the air lines were left in along with compressor.i just ignored it though.
  2. i too had to replace mine, protective shield just keep dirt&moisture near tube/caused it to rust. didn't cost me anything though for new tube/friend had spare ones around.
  3. We talked about 'Do not tow this vehicle' decals on the board before, maybe we should really do it? I'm a graphic designer, I'll do up the art free if someone can print the decals. Maybe the board could sell them. check with mcbrat,he does great work
  4. http://www.tyres1.com this place has some nice 28s cheap along with 27s
  5. the other day i noticed a crunching sound just fromw the base of the steering wheel, were it meets up to the rest of the column.took the molding off an couldn't see anything that jumped out at me saying (hey i'm the prob) wondering if it might be the wheel locking mech or something in that area.(it's a 94 legacy wagon) wasn't sure if anyone ever had same prob, any suggestions on what to check would be appreciated thanks. p.s. beside the crunching noise,at times steering is stiff until i hear a pop then it's ok.
  6. that's a 2" suspension lift? that mudrat makes?? if so maybe i'll do a suspension lift instead of body lift. right now i'm running 185/70/14(to small for me)
  7. been there/tried giving horn a toot and a wave.just seems that whewn subie owners are driving they just pay attention to the road.maybe next time at a stop light or stop sign. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=31239
  8. OK NOW I'M REALLY,REALLY,REALLY JEALOUS NOW.IT'S SICK (that's a good thing).LOOKS LIKE IT'S GONNA BE SOME PIECE OF MACHINE.
  9. anyone got a pic.this is the first time i heard of one of those.(just when i thought i'd knew of all the subies out there.) about couple mnth back was the first time i've seen a 360 in person/cool little car, wouldn't mind owning one but dealer ship in nashue wouldn't sell:(
  10. been driving my 94 legacy gt wagonfor about 2 months now and couldn't be happier.shes got alittle over 142,000 on the odometer an engine strong like bull:banana: sounds corny but i even tuck her in at night before i go to bed,(i cover her hood with a nice warm wool blanket)before i got her i used to drive a 99 dodge avenger coupe with a 2.5 v-6(kinda small for a 6cyl) glad i changed over back to subarus.
  11. on the jeep i owned,it had a set of 33x12.5x15s and with as many times a cop pulled up behind me.not once did i get stopped.was just useing the stock jeep ones that really didn't cover anything. tires stuck out about 4" i got a pic somewhere around gonna dig it up an upload it.
  12. a couple weeks ago when i got beached and was tring to rock the car free,my light for abs came on too.as soon as i got free i shut the engine off an then restarted.light went out but then..... car started to shake something fearce at only 30mph.hasn't shoke in awhile.scared the ?#@$ out of me though.
  13. thanks for the info/gonna try it next time i fill up,my luck i'm probable gonna have low mpg cuz of the way i drive:brow:
  14. how exactly do you figure out mpg? i'm not really worried but was curious.
  15. the safest bet would be to run power right from battery.i used 8 guage power and ground wire in my install(depends on wattage of amp).as far as getting signal to amp, just use the signal going to the back speakers.now unless you tap into them, you'll lose signal to them to.tapping into them so that both amp an bk speakers work, may reduce sound quality. check with local audio store/they might sell something that allows you to use stock radio an hook up amp using low inputs on amp.
