YOU CANT get ur wheels to spin!! UR CRAZY, i think my car is crazy, i ONCE, JUST ONCE, got the rear wheels to chirp on drive pavement!!! SO crazy!! Even with ur FWD fuse in? No front wheel spin, with my FWD fuse in, i get smoke from the front tires ROFL, but these tires are brand new, there yokohoma? SOmething like that, but there super good tires, grib is amazing, but its not an issue on dry payment, just SOMEtimes it is, but rain is my main concern, and winter we will see if it is noticeable.

Look all i want to know is why is there a delay? There should not be a delay, all everyone says is the car is 13years old, i dont CARE, it should drive like when it was new, the tranny is pretty much new, and the TCU is new. Should i reset the tcu, and see if it fixes the problem?

ok, well my car slips llike real noticeably, like on dry ashspalt the wheels smoke, but its definitly AWD, because with the FWD fuse in place, cetainly does spin the wheels for a long time, but i have changed the tranny with a rebuilt one, and it has replaced solenoid, and clutch, and the TCU was changed, why is there such a delay? My dad told me when the car was new it never had a problem engadinjg, as soon as he floored it, it was impossible to notice any wheel spin, at ALL, even in the winter, so how do i force 50/50 split, just put it in first with manual mode in? I tryed that spins the front wheels still for bit, then u can feel the rear kick in, think i should change the tranny fluid?

Thanks for the advice big, i need to do my front discs, and pads, and the rear rotors, does anyone know what i need to make the rear brakes vented? Can i just buy the vented discs? will they bolt right up? model 93 legacy wagon 4wd.

Just wondering, in 1st gear with a auto tranny it does 50/50 split right? Because my front wheels spin sometimes for a bit, then it kicks in the rear, whats wrong? Is it the tcu? SHould i reset it?

EXACTLY!! who wants a 1.5l!! how am i saving the enviroment, im going to have to WOT everytime i take off in order for the car to roll, ROFL. 2.2l would be cool if they brought it back.

How? How? THink how much more the engine has to struggle anyway? These cars are definitly not the lightest on the road, and with a smaller engine, it will stuggle more, and therefore use more fuel, but we will see how these 1.5l engines work out? Right?

Is it a joke, a 1.5l engine? I will hope it would be much much much more lighter though, in order to compensate for the 104 hp!!

did u buy anti-squiek for the brakes, u apply it on the back off the brakes, it dries to rubber.

That much!! i drove out to missasauga, thats my favourite dealer, that subaru over there is the best!! i think it was 20bucks for me, but i know the manager, hmm, where else? hmm. Well u could jsut try shifting to 3rd to see what happens, but it really seems like it aint a torque converter, i think its a simple issue, does it do it with cruise control?

I disagree with ur little comment. I have went to, many many private little mehcanics and they cost me SO much in the long run, i love my dealer, i preffer they charged me double, just because i can count on my stealership on doing a good proper job. I have spent so much refixing things my crappy mechanics have done, i have been through about 20 different mechanics, and only 1 i liked.

drive it there, subaru will fix ur car then everything will be alright. Just be sure to pull over every so often. Not worth the money to tow it.

but u have a EJ22 right? He has a EJ25.

u know what are u sure ur waterpump isnt leaking? On my subaru my water pump dripped like a rain storm, got it replaced, and the leaking stopped all together.

well sometimes the seals on thee rad cap create a airleak.. now the thermo stat is a unlikely problem because they usually make the engine not warm up when there jammed. I suggest u try a rad flush and nea rad cap.

i say the same, i had a 06 forester, and it was overall quicker, but my 1993 legacy is still more peppy, like when u floor it, the thing is gone, where as with the forester i floor it, and nothing happens. According to subaru they called it a "safety feature" are they like.... i mean if i get hit by a bus its a safety feature because the car barely takes off. lol.

Thanks, just my front shocks i think might be a little worn out though, whats the stock ride height? Like from the ground to the bumper in the front, and how much in the back? thanks guys.
