Oh ya i remember that thread. I checked the tranny by driving in the city, for about 10-15mins then i stopped left the car running(dont turn off the engine) then i made sure the car was on level ground, pulled the dipstick, wiped it, then reinserted, it should be around half way on the hot side, of the dipstick.

Just wondering, u try premium fuel or do u run premium fuel all together? Becasue these engines run way better one premium, its even noticeable with my 93 leg wagon non turbo. Like i got my REAR wheels spinning!! THATS incredible, and on the highway, its definitly more quick. Then i went back to 87 octane, and things just dont feel the same. But if u say there is a buzzing or humming from the engine, well, its hesitating, mine did the same sort of thing, dumped the seafoam through the pcv valve and no more humming and buzzing. ANd dumped some seafoam in the gas tank.

Well i see mine come on every so often at lower gears, but usually when im on the highway it lights up. If the fluid is a little bit low, it can casue the clutches to slip and therefore its screwed on that part, but the turbo should help u out a bit. Hmm never thought about height on earth. Hmm, well is it like a super noticeable problem? THe power light i believe indicates to hold the gear, and downshift.

Ok, guys i feel much better, subaru did my oil change, retorqued my bolt on the harmonic pulley, and i didnt hit 140ft-lbs but now it is at 140ft-lbs, we talked, learned, and cars runs great. CHecked everything, diagnoised the temp sensor, needed to be replaced, and all is well. Car runs better for some reason, as always, whenever we go to subaru i always feel better, and they always make my car run way better. The subaru God must have blessed my subaru:burnout:......

Hey, well my thermo stat died. Hmm, now it didnt want to come up to temperature the engine. Now i changed the thermostat and i refilled the fluid in the rad, but i just need to take it for a test drive. Now to air out the system u turn on the car and keep pouring into the rad until full right? Then cap? Is there a special proccedure i should follow? I find subaru complicated vehicles:-\. Thanks.

i have a thread divoted to ur issue. I have 6 pages worth. lol. Now its very simple, take off the bolt, take off the pulley, pull off all the belts. THEN buy the new harmonic pulley, and usually u will also need a new key( 5 bucks CDN) harmonic pulley(200CDN) and then i used a pulley holder, its like a belt that goes around the pulley, and then u use a torque wrench and torque it to 100ft-lbs, but me myself i did 140ft-lbs with blue locktite. Subaru Canada said 140ft-lbs but everyone here thinks im dum for doing that. Oh well the pulley is still there. And when u put back on the belts ur going to needs to lossen the little bolt that adjusts the tension on the belts, and the idler then put on ur belts after u have the bolt on nice and tight. Now this pull holder, my dad helped me out here, he holded it from the bottom while i used the torque wrench and tightened the crap out of it. ANd then we put on the new belts we bought. We made the belts not TO TIGHT, and not TO LOOSE. And u should be set to go. Except in my situation i wasnt set to go, my alternator died, doh. But its running great now, been 5,000km i put on the car since last week or so, and no problems, just my dam thermoter is stuck, and the engine wont warm up, no biggie, 15bucks CDN all is well. Hope this helps. Edit: here my thread by the way. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=64710
