  1. Update: So I'm going to scrap this idea and just do white on a couple of different color shirts. I think it's just too expensive to do all the colors. This way I can keep the cost down and people and afford to buy them. I'll start a new thread once the shirts are finished with all the information.
  2. Hmmmmm, you want to lower it like this one?
  3. Built by "the beast i drive" aka bill.
  4. you might want to make the phone number a little bigger:grin:
  5. Let's see I've got the AWD transmission matted to the EJ22 and now I'm working on fabricating the cross member. Then it's time to start fabricating the axles and drive line. I know the axles will have to be 2" shorter. I will cut, sleeve and weld them together. I'll post some photos once I get everything put together. I'm also working on scoring some newer 17" Subaru rims.
  6. Okay so I'm gearing up to pull the motor and refinish the engine bay, mount the transmission to the motor and reinstall everything. Then I can build some axles and a drive line. AWD here I come! I also just got an EJ25. As soon as I figure out when and how I'm going to pick it up I can start building my high compression motor with torque cams. I think once I'm finished this should be a torquie little hatch.
  7. So my brother in law backed into the wagon the other day. Smashing up the hood and breaking out one of the headlights. :-\
  8. I'm looking at doing a similar set up in my hatch. I'm just going to use a 2002 WRX set up though. I've got the fronts finished, but need to install the rear yet. I got a few of the adapter rings from Reagan (I think that was his name, the dude with the WRX BRAT). I painted my the topical ricer red. Nice job on yours.
  9. Canadians and there metric system:rolleyes:
  10. It took me about a year, but I was determined to get it running. My hatch had only 114,000 miles on it and ran great. I did feel a little like a knob having sit in my driveway not running for a year, but I think that's what I used to fuel my determination to get the thing running and driving. Funny, now it's sitting in my driveway again all torn apart waiting for an AWD conversion. Oh, projects. Why can't I leave them alone.
  11. I've got a 1995 Subaru Legacy wagon with a cable clutch transmission. Anyway I need to find out for sure what geared transmission is in it 'cause I need to buy one. Transmission code: 87-TY752VAAAA I've found 2 different listings for subaru transmissions and one said 4.111 & the other said 3.900. So which one is it? thanks in advance for the help
  12. Okay so I'm getting these shirts going (finally). So what I'm going to have to do is get a bunch of pre-orders together and paid for in order to fund the shirts. So I'll start taking orders now. These are going to be a bit more then the last ones do to all the colors, but still a good price. Cost is: $18.00 + $4.00 for shipping (local pick up is available). Payment instructions: Paypal: largbrowneye@hotmail.com Mail: check/money order (make payable to Jason Bruce) at 7104 se 86th ave. portland, oregon 97266 Cash: Pick up orders only Let me know what size you want too.
  13. I kind of like the Jackman's so i think I'll keep them on, but clean them up and paint them.
  14. Okay so I haven't updated this lately, but I've been busy with other projects. This one is now my main focus. My goal (like lots of you on here) is to have it ready for the WCSS. So far I've got all of the drive train out and ready to install the AWD transmission. I'm also going to redo the engine bay too. I have a couple of small updates and tweeks I want to make all around the car too. I'll post stuff as I finish it.
  15. ya, I'm still going to do them. I'm just trying to work up some capital to fund the project. I will get on the ball with these soon though.
  16. I finally got to take the wagon on a test drive last weekend. It's a ton of fun to drive. It has a lot more pick up then I expected too. I'll snap a few photos tomorrow of the engine bay and maybe some video of it running. It sound great.
  17. I got this thing running today. I did a port and polish on the heads & port matched the intake manifold to the heads & the weber carb. It sounds really good now. I'm waiting on a thermo switch for the radiator so that I can hook up the fan (correctly) and put some water/coolant in the system, then I can take it for a spin. I'll post some photos of the engine bay as it sits now in the next day or so. I've been working on cleaning up some of the unnecessary items. I also got rid of that baulky old style fan and put in a slim fan.
  18. Never mind I got it hooked up and running. Sounds sweet.
  19. I was wondering if anyone had a photo or two of there coil wiring set up. I trying to put a 1980 EA71 motor into my 1978 Wagon, but the distributors and coils are a little different and I can't seem to get any spark. Here's the set-up I have:
  20. looks like it's off of an EJ18 motor.
