  1. I like nice big photos.
  2. Trip to sandlake Off Road Park Feb. 27th 2010: Video to come when I have time to upload it.
  3. Just a little, then it got nice.
  4. Just got back from the trip and it was great. Although I did loose reverse right away so I couldn't back up. Also the tires I used were too aggressive. I'd never driven on the sand before so it was a great learning experience. Thanks to those who came out. You made the trip super fun.
  5. What did Rod do this time?
  6. That wouldn't fit in a Subaru unless you relocated the radiator.
  7. Sounds good to me. -earl
  8. Do it yourself for a lot less. Have someone else do it and it'll cost you.
  9. cool, I'm in for 10am
  10. I posted this to my old school subaru group on FB. Here's the link: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=340776737974

Wish I could have gone. I haven't got my BRAT yet, but you should come out to Sand Lake with us in a couple weeks.
  13. Good times, I just wish Bill would have made us some lunch
  14. That's what I'm saying.
  15. Well I dropped off the new motor today, but they didn't have the other one out yet. The guy I sold it to said that they had already stared pulling the motor. The shop was very snotty with me and said that they will not have it finished till the end of next week. I can't really figure out why it would take them so long, I could swap a motor in and out in a day. At this point I'm not sure if I'll get the old motor back or not, if I don't get it back then I smell something shady here. :-\
  16. So the guy I sold the BRAT to blew up the motor on the way to the coast. :-\ I'm not sure what he did, but I felt bad for the guy and now I'm going over there to deliver on of the motors I had sitting in my garage. It sucks 'cause it's a hydro lift EA81 that I'm getting rid of. I had big plans for the motor, but I gots to help a brother out. I'm getting the motor out of the BRAT back so I can tear it down and see what the hell happened. What I think happened was that he was going over the pass and really rapping out the RPMs then the thing stated to over heat and he continued to limp the thing to the coast.
  17. That works for me.
  18. If I can have my hatch going by then I'll see you there.
  19. I did the same thing with my 1998 Lagacy Outback, but I bought and cut the film myself (only 0.50 for the film & $4,500 for the plotter).
  20. Obviously new to the board and didn't read your tag GD.
  21. Hmmmm, I just got a call from the guy I sold it to and the BRAT overheated on him. He took it to a mechanic and they said the the passenger head gasket blew. Only one of 2 things could have happened, 1 I got a faulty head gasket or 2 my torque wrench is way off. Anyone else have any ideas?
  22. Not as much as I though it was worth, $3,800
  23. It's gone!! The guy just came and picked it up today. New home is Idaho.
  24. Are we going to meet at Sand Lake or here in Portland and convoy to Sand Lake?
