  1. seconded, i like turbo engines as well but very few people have managed to get much power out of them, there just not power houses
  2. just to use my two cents, i believe all the er27's had metal ones but i'm going to ask about this tonight on the xt-6 board
  3. you could try compressed air but i think your going to end up pulling the dash to get to the heat vent plumbing
  4. this sounds like the thread this guy started about what clutch to use in an xt-6 AUTO to MANUEL conversion, despite common sense and much experance he was to hard headed to listen

  6. i'd go dual range tranny with ej22 power plenty of lowend torque and low range for that little extra boost when you need it

  13. the first thought that comes to mind is how are you going to power it
  14. the death wedge sat for about a year before i bought it and no problems, well that engine blew but i'm pretty sure that it was user error long story
  15. what rpm were you at when it started sputtering i guarentee you it wasn't valve float

  18. there's an svx at colorado, i'd take the engine but i have to get rid of my ej22t first
  19. you've got the right idea i was planning on getting one for the death wedge eventually
  20. why bother they didn't do anything cool with the ea82 the way they did with the ea81, they were all 9.5 to compression except the turbo and carbie ones. aside from turbo heads there were no variations in the heads, there were a few slight changes in the cams but that is it, and thus i really don't see the point in debaiting it
