you think that has bad approach angles try offtroaden in my six i bottomed out the nose a while back while wheelin 8 or nine times the car was ment for the track not offroad trust me

i was generilising i know many deisels can hold rpm up to 4500 but most cut out around 3000-3500

depends where i have heard stories of the fin's going and sending shrapnel throughout the engine bay and the intake as well

i shift at 7000 rpm all the time however i have no exhaust=no backpressure been doing it for a while and still no problem and evean before that i shifted at 6000rpm all the time with no problem the only real problem is the fact that it eats 2 quarts of oil per thousand miles, but then it is an old subie old subie = lots-a-leaks
