November 20, 200916 yr Paint it flat black color.............it won't look so noticeable. Cheaper then buying a hood and repainting.
November 20, 200916 yr Yeah, just paint the thing and go with it. Least they put a Subaru scoop on there and not something from JC Whitney.
November 20, 200916 yr Well... did he cut out the holes under the scoop for air to flow into the engine bay?
November 20, 200916 yr just rhinoline the whole freekin' car. but don't touch the scoop, cause that's ***************in'
November 20, 200916 yr Author Get a new hood and put a front mount IC in it wull thers ma problum riht thare!:grin:more to come..... gotta figure out some codes, if anyone has early gen legacy interior that is black.i will buy your door cards and carpet from you......oh, and the headliner.....did they ever come in black? cheers, brian
November 20, 200916 yr Black interior existed on turbo models but was very rare. I say you drive that thing down here and drive home in my Brat... if you hate it so much
November 20, 200916 yr Looking at your open engine bay, I see the creature comforts of power steering and A/C are not operational on the car. I bet you find more surprises on this modified car.
November 20, 200916 yr the power steering pump is there and the a/c brackets are there, so might not be hard to get all or some of that back. yeah, that's legacy scoop, looks good to me if it was one color. paint that thing.
November 20, 200916 yr Thats a 98-01 2.5RS/OBS scoop in aspen white. Edited November 20, 200916 yr by Durania
November 20, 200916 yr Author i am not one to like"creature" comforts. the power steering needs a line extended, and i will not run A/C......i have taken A/C off of every car i have ever owned. and yep......there will be surprises, but someone elses laziness is not of concern to me.i will make it run, pass emissions, and drive it for a while. the plan is to paint the whole car in the spring,,,,or sooner if i can get mugs to help me make a fan set for his garage. bigger than anything, i want to finish the interior.cheers, brian

November 20, 200916 yr I have a set of 02 WRX springs that will fit on that style strut. I'll let them go real cheap if you want them!! Very nice BTW!! and keep us updated on the fixin up!!
November 21, 200916 yr I put WRX springs on my Wagon... i found that only the fronts fit and the rears did not. Mine was a '92 with a different suspension setup though.
