July 13, 201015 yr Really suprised at how well it turned out. Was hesitant about the paint job at first, but now that it's finished it actually looks really cool. I bet you can see that thing from MILES away. Sweet job on the paint job
July 14, 201015 yr Thanks guys, but really - how's a Red lifted EA82 with roof rack and big tires incognito? Lol. Well if you need help with stuff, I'll make the trip up there, Marshfeild isn't to far of a drive. you have been pm'ed

July 16, 201015 yr Author Lol. Yep I found out today that these are longer then the stockers! I just got done with the rears today and wow its nice. Sits a lot higher! Gonna look good when I get the front done - will attemp tomorrow. The old rear struts (208,000) the driver sides piston won't even stay up on its own without the spring on it (Amazing!) the tire used to hop off the ground like a basketball. The other side wasn't much better, but would stay up on its own, but didn't have the power to push its self back up. No more cadillac ride with the new struts :-p
July 16, 201015 yr What, you didnt like bouncing for another 1/4 mile after hitting a bump? Lol. Yep I found out today that these are longer then the stockers! July 16, 201015 yr Tom, i found the gasket to that crusty rump roast water pump you are riding on. It goes to show that leftover parts from a blown headgasket can resurrect a $500 car. I painted the blue legacy white on the bottom. My girl had a real issue at first, but after all, I am Miles Fox and this is a Subaru. She got over it. This will be her car. I'll get a picture. The XT-6 is next. Scott, the Volvo may as well be TW11, and the legacy 12, you have 13 for the ranks.
July 16, 201015 yr Author Perfect timing! Yep leftover parts are indeed handy. I'll have to check out the legacy next. I have more orange paint if ya need it.

LOL. good deal... 13 seems to be my lucky number. i'll have to make a retro lookin Trashwagon13 logo and maybe have mick or my buddy who has a vinyl cutter (he has a sign shop) i just remembered. I was wondering how the debate over the blue legacy was gonna turn out. cant wait to see it. wheres the pic tom?!?
July 16, 201015 yr I wish i could find a $500 car. well.. moreso had the $500 for it. LOL. I see that $500 and lower it to $200!!! hehehe... granted, my Legacy isnt an Outback, but it is a $200 running, driving Subaru. As for the number 13 - you and I might need to battle that one out, Scott! 13 has always been my lucky number, too! does seniority picture into the equation??

July 17, 201015 yr Author Continued...! Clearances: Clearance from Spring perch: Before Clearance from Spring Perch: After The Tools: Next up is my passenger side axle... Sometime ago this axle was rebuilt by the P.O, seeing how this guy used Zip-ties for boot clamps and failed to install the snap-ring on the axle shaft (DOJ side) my axle shaft popped out due to not having a Snap-ring to hold it. Oh yes I found the snap-ring, it was bent and laying in the cup of the DOJ. I have now taken the DOJ appart and have a new snap-ring. I'll assemble the axle tomorrow along with installing it into the car. Pictures... New Snap-ring. Continuing.... Another Day!
July 17, 201015 yr looking good tom. I'm not sure if the 05 forester spring will raise my outback ... its already higher than the average Legacy. cant wait to see Before and after Pictures.
July 18, 201015 yr Author looking good tom.I'm not sure if the 05 forester spring will raise my outback ... its already higher than the average Legacy. cant wait to see Before and after Pictures. You'd want '98-01 Forester springs for your Outback. And yes it will lift it 3/4" more about, and you can change the top hats to Forester ones aswell since they are thicker.

July 18, 201015 yr I need to get me one of those old Wagons and jack it up. I like the way that thing looks. Like the Outback too, but the Loyale is just a beast! Put a winch on one with some diamond plate steel bumpers and a set of roof lights I bet it could out-do every jacked up pickup or SUV in this town. Especially with some 31" super swampers under it, and a Camo paint job! As for the pain on the Outback, is that truck bed liner or actually paint?
July 18, 201015 yr Author Its Truck bed liner (Huculiner) but I painted over it Lol! You'd be amazed on what these Subarus can do...
July 18, 201015 yr Author Thanks Kyle, it was fun - my hands ache like no other though (Joints are sore and have cuts) Its what makes you a man General Grabber AT2s will be coming sometime, whenever I come into more money.
