What is that con-fangled conglomoration tech type thing that is mounted behind the pass. side strut tower? Very top left part of the view.

 

Air pump? This loyale wouldn't have air suspension though.....

Definitely not air suspension seeing how the compressor and air tanks are inside drivers front fender. it's what 'TheLoyal' said it is.

I think there's something else mounted to that bracket. But yea, the black thing with the white cap and 2 vacuum lines going to it is a vacuum canister for the HVAC system (the doors that direct air to the different vents are vacuum actuated)

There is also a fuse or relay on that bracket, I forget which it is. I dunno if it is also for the HVAC system or not.

Well.....looks like the idle up solenoid for carbed cars w/AC.

My 89 has that too, and it used to have AC. Always wondered what the fuse by the vac canister was..
