My 88XTGL was previously timed at a high 12. No video she's under the knife right now. But it does have a straight pipe and pulls right up to 6250 rpms. My loyale sedan hasn't been timed but SPFI is clearly inferior to MPFI and the box aerodynamics don't help it any either

  • Wow this makes the Justy a racer at 12 seconds!

  • Its been done and it takes a hell of a lot of work. I have a CVT so it is in the 12-13 second range. People do put turbos on them I think they come from Puegots.

  • That was like 8 seconds.... What the Hell have you done to that thing lol

15 secs with the new Weber, stock size exhaust, open cat.(I think it could push more air)

Timing is at 13° BTDC, running custom 1 3/4" into 2" UEL headers and re jetted it using jets out of a Hitachi I had lying around (I think its out of a 2 litre Toyota Hilux) primary jet has gone from 110 to 112 and secondary from 140 to 156 but, honestly I cant feel much difference since changing the jets....... I believe the engine was originally out of a 90's Brumby (Brat) as it has the black rocker covers and electronic ignition but, unsure as I got the engine of ebay.
