May 6, 200421 yr Here's a couple pics of my engine after throwing the #3 rod at about 2500 rpm. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May 6, 200421 yr Well, I think you win the prize for the worst damage ever to a EA block Thats a huge hole
May 6, 200421 yr a little duct tape and some magic fairy dust will have you running again in no time. :-) Was that 2500 RPM or 25,000 RPM?
May 6, 200421 yr (in my best cartman voice) "Ya shouldnta done that - he was just a boy - poor little feller" Anyone remeber redneck rampage? "Dat one blowed up REAL good!" GD
May 6, 200421 yr Well Kelly, if you're going to do something, there's no point in doing it half-a##ed. If you're going toblow an engine, we now have the model to follow. Nice job! Let me know ifyou need me to look for anything in the J/Y's here.
May 6, 200421 yr Ummmm.......toast. You could clean that up really good, and use it as a coffee table decoration. Thats what I would do. No, seriously, I would do that.
May 6, 200421 yr You didn’t need that piston anyway, its not like you don’t have 3 more and judging from its disheveled appearance I’m sure it took little pride in its self and was most likely dragging down the morale of the entire engine… you're better off without it. Sure it’ll leak a little oil, just keep a few extra quarts with ya and run it. Gary
May 6, 200421 yr nah man....we've done better we granaded one so bad the shrapnel left dents in the hood!!!! better yet...it was still running on 3 cylinders
