October 1, 20169 yr Does anyone have a list or rough idea of what years and models come factory with an LSD diff? I know all SVX's come with an LSD but what other models and years?
October 1, 20169 yr Some WRX STI & early Leone / L series Rally cars got 'em ... Don't know what years though ... :/Cheers, Bantum ... Edited October 1, 20169 yr by Bantum
October 1, 20169 yr check cars101.com for specs Gen 2 Outbacks with weather package I think, certainly H6es with WP. Maybe Gen 2 VDC and LL Bean?
October 2, 20169 yr Forester S and XS, and high optioned Outbacks from about 2000 onward have 4.11 or 4.44 lsd
October 3, 20169 yr check cars101.com for specs Gen 2 Outbacks with weather package I think, certainly H6es with WP. Maybe Gen 2 VDC and LL Bean? VDC cars do NOT have an LSD. Other than that, '00-'01 Outbacks with cold weather package has the LSD, Cold weather package became standard '02-'04.
October 3, 20169 yr 1998-2002 s model forester,I don't know about others. No Offense, but the LSD didn't arrive in the Forester S (and possiby the Impreza RS) 'til '00, from what I've read. No USA Subaru, except for the SVX had an LSD from '92-'99, AFAIK - including the Legacy GT and OB. The '91 Legacy Sport Sedan - Turbo- (4EAT and 5-speed) was the only year w/the rear 3.90 VLSD. Here's another LIST on NASIOC.
October 4, 20169 yr I have a 1998 forester s model 5 speed, lifting rear of car off the ground, both wheels turn in same direction.
October 4, 20169 yr I have a 1998 forester s model 5 speed, lifting rear of car off the ground, both wheels turn in same direction. Interesting...not here to argue, but that's not 'factory'. May be someone swapped it? Or a unicorn. :-)
