EA81/EA82 to EJ22 Conv. for sale on ebay.

Featured Replies

Just thought i would share this awesome thing. A guy on ebay is selling an ea81/ea82 to ej22 swap with all the parts on ebay. Low mile engine. If I had the money and it wasn't 8 hours away, I'd be picking it up  :D

More than likely the seller is on this website too. :headbang:

I would want to see the thinned harness and the flywheel and adapater.  Also where's the MAF, the intake airbox, and the rest?

I've seen harnesses that have been butchered before.

Pics only show a rusty motor.

Personally I think the price is a bit high for such an "unknown" quantity.

Better off to buy a running donor car and get everything.

Ya in all honesty I would have to go a thorough check over on it and then maybe.

Story doesn't check out in my book - "pulled from a friend's rusty legacy" at the start of the description, then at the end they say something along the lines of "never installed (into what??), this cost me a lot of money to get it all together"...

Last comment designed to bump the price?

Cheers

Yeah, seems a little hinky to me as well. I got all my EJ swap parts For FREE! I bought a 92 something or other NA EJ for $300 that got canned hard in the front end.pulled the engine and did the harness. Sold the trans and the rear diff and got my money back. Took the hulk to the local Subie yard (now gone :( ) and traded it for a low mileage, solid turbo, downpipe and plumbing. :D Ok, I did spend $75 on a Subaru AWIC. Now if I can just get the rest of the sh!t done I have around here and the full resto I'm doing to a 68 Mustang, I might actually get to put it in! (years later, Ugh...)
