July 18, 200520 yr Author you ever think of putting in a skylight? or two.Thanks for the comments, but no, I never did think of putting skylights in, nor would I, I need to seal the are a where I will be doing the painting, and skylights would be one more area that I need to worry about.
August 8, 200520 yr Author Well, the first coat of floor paint went on today, I'll put the second coat on tomorrow. Hey, I think it is time to set a date for the offical 'garage warming party'. It looks like Saturday the 20th of August would be a good time. I'll probably set up a bar-b-que on the back deck and have a couple of coolers available for beverages. I'll probably cook up some hamburgers, if you want something else. bring it and you can cook it up. I'll have a small selection of pop, so you might want to bring your favorite beverage, there should be room in one of the coolers for it. So RSVP, let me know who's coming over.
August 8, 200520 yr That is a very good looking garage Corky! I can only dream of the project's we'll see rolling out of there. And your right, WHO NEEDS WINDOWS!?!? Plenty of lighting and you can work well into the night... and not ever know about it. Looks like theres plenty of room for storage between the house and the shop too. -Brian

August 9, 200520 yr Author One of the things that will be part of the "Garage Warming" party will be a tarp with parts on it, if you can find something on the tarp that you need, it's yours. Anything left on the tarp with be going to the dump or metal recycle. Most, if not all of the stuff will be either EA81 series or EA82 series stuff.

I hope no one is planning to just show up since I am planning the food based upon the number of people who respond. So if you drop in unannounced, don't expect to be feed.
