December 25, 200817 yr So I have a quick question since I really couldn't find anything on it in the PDF file or have really seen it discussed. I'm using a EJ 5-speed from a '98 Impreza and was wondering about a pitch stopper. What have people done with it and did you cut the stock EA down or did you use an EJ or what. I think this is one of the last pieces of the puzzle I need to solve before I get it all together since I currently don't have an EJ one, just a SPFI EA pitch stopper.

April 3, 201114 yr Wow great writeup and work Numbchux and the other contributors! I'm a visually person and it was just what I needed to see. My car is ready for the swap, but until I find a complete donor car I don't think I'll risk it yet. Electrical is my thing, its the engine stuff that scares me LOL Definitely subscribed here, and thanks again! I know writeups like this take time and are a labor of love!

I just did one this week with an EJ engine/trans in to an EA82 body. The one I used was a rod style. I sliced it roughly in half and had it welded back together beside itself (shortened and offset).
