Original owner '83 GL 4X4 Wagon.

205,000:banana:

I have replaced the the clutch once, 1 alternator and 1 starter

I'm pulling the motor this week to fix the Oil leaks and have the head gaskets done (they aren't leaking, I just figured it was time).

my assortment of soobs:

'88 dl sedan, 103,000 on it... sold it because i acquired another car :-\

'86 gl sedan, 94,000 on it... sold it to pay off debt

'88 dl wagon, 176,000 on it, it was an east coast car... it died in Arizona.

'89 xt6, 100,000 on it... runs great, sorting out paperwork on it currently

'86 gl coupe, 94,000 on it... im in love.

the "subaruban" (90 loyale with custom third row seat like a suburban) just died with 343,xxx. I'm going to miss driving that car; in Alaska, it handled the hiways like a train on tracks.

Ross

1982 GL Wagon. 132k miles, and she's fast cuz she's a RED one! 36 mpg routinely on flatland. She is trying to rust out on us, but we won't let her, cuz my bro the mechanic says this engine will simply NEVER die.:headbang:

90 Legacy wagon - 273k (AFAIK original drivetrain)

93 Impreza sedan - 153k on car, 75-80k on motor

86 GL-10 Turbo sedan - 319k original motor

87 GL turbo wagon - 150k on motor, 160k on trans, 197k on body

92 dodge ram diesel - 139k (I know it's not a soob but it's in my driveway :-P

68 Dodge Polara convertible - 0k on motor (rebuilt), 96k on body/trans

I saw that my bro in law is bumping his own thread, so here goes an effort to raise an already dead thread...

Does it matter?

:-p:)

16400 or so on the 2005 baja. Poor thing barely gets driven anymore :(

Because... I spend most of my time now in a 2006 Volvo errrr truck (sorry dont know the model) with 55K on it and rapidly increasing by almost 1K per day  (just retired a 2002 freightliner columbia with 580K) Ya I know they arent subes... but once I go solo I am putting a subaru sticker on my fleet truck

I have video of my Legacy rolling over to 270,000 but I can't find my MiniSD adaptor so I can't get the file off my phone :-(

:-p:)

oh it matters, He is going to have a way faster RS than my GL-10 (but I dont let that get to me) and there has to be competition or else this wonderful thread wouldnt be on here with such a great host like me. :)

Oh, It doesnt really matter if its a subaru, anything with some real mileage is welcome, so long as its not a mitsu :Flame: :Flame: :Flame: DONT BE SHY PEOPLE!!!

My brother's GL just died. The 249,926 is the final number on the ticker. Compression is low all the way around, and number 4 is down to 35PSI. Not sure what killed it, just that its dead. The rust on it is too much to justify putting anymore into the car. It will see the junkyard probably in a few days (after I rob the 3.9 rear diff from it).

A sad Saturday it was when we finally started checking it out.
