You had people from nine different states at that wedding, none of which were blood relatives. That right there makes it about the coolest wedding I have ever attended.

Thanks guys..I personally cant justify spending all sorts of money on the formal thing..with 200 of you closet family members that you may only talk to once every 10 years..especially when ..like me..your friends are more family then the family is..

Plus .we are old..and this will be better remembered..and have a much better story to it.Its all about the meaning then the ceremony.

Thats how me and Ashley did it. But it was me, her, and the preacher and his wife. I'm not a big fan of getting all dressed up or spending boat loads of money on stuff that can be done simply and painlessly.

Roxanna doesn't work since Roxanne on the board is owned by Snowman in Alaska. She's a red EA82 wagon with lots-o-stuff done:-p

More later;)

Glad to see you made it back.

I'm glad you made it home.....

Hopefully, with no issues.

And hope you make it back again next year!

:burnout:

Only had 2 issues.

The first one was about 1am. It was about the size of a medium dog, but a big round ball of fur. Could have been either a coon or badger, but it made a big thud under my right front tire:rolleyes: No damage, my last second twitch must have been enough to prevent any. Didnt stop to see what it was either, really didnt want to be hit by a truck like I hit the critter.

The 2nd issue was later in the morning. I was already gunshy(actually the whole trip there and back I was anticipating encounters) and when a tumbleweed flew up, hit the front and then my side of the windshield I about messed my pants. If it has been a deer, you would probably all be reading a obit:dead:

Oh and after the critter encounter the air susp light on the dash kept coming on. There were no actual probs with the shocks that I could find, I would shut the key off and turn it back on and let out the clutch, no more light. This morning when I stopped for food and yes! My first mocha since leaving, I checked the lines and the light never came back on.

I did stop at Mt Rushmore and CrazyHorse, I'll get the pics up in a few days. I'm still wired from driving, but I know if I lay down and close my eyes, I wont wake till sometime tomorrow.

Hey! I still have a front plate on my car and a Rushmore visitors' pass...so I'm going to guess you paid the eight bucks...

Good to see you again at Tim's and glad you made it home in one piece...with no damage done to my new car ;)

Laura and I are still in Des Moines. Shawn, I'll give you a call about the seats and the cables. (don't think I'm missing any cables...I thought I had everything?)

And many thanks to ShawnW, Turbone, IdahoJak, chef_tim and Vicky, Bucky92, and all the great folks at WCSS9--and my congratulations to Connie and Tommy! Way to go! (Rob showed me the video too.)

Thanks Andrew..when are you going to be back this way?? ( just remembered I still have to get the rest of the keys for Rock from you:) )

Plus you are worrying some of us...all these milea ..in an escort:lol:

I know..besides gettign hitched finally..the best part of the weekend was finally getting to meet one of my favorite west coasters. Yes..we did try to kidnap..sabotage the car..and bride him into staying. Some of us are already in the talks and though plans of getting out that way within the next few years ..to meet the rest of the west coast. I know some of us will really miss Rob..but at least we know he is just a phone call away now
