white letters mounted out or in recommended

Featured Replies

What do you guys (and gals) think i should choose when getting my tires mounted for my soon to be lifted Brat? White letters out to be seen, or mounted in?

tires I decided on are Peerless Baja Widetrack A/T 215/75/15 cause they are cheap at 67.95 per, +the mounting/balance, and they are available in the town i work so i don't have to drive 60 miles to get them.

why are you asking us? it's your car.

I prefer them mounted out.....but that's on my cars.

In because you will get better economy.

Beats me, just wanting to see if anyone was paying attention. :)

i guess it depends

if its more of a low profile street tire keep them in.

But if there mud or heavy traction tires keep them out

For me it relly depends on how much sidewall there is. For example. on a 255-60-15 tire id keep them out but on a 215-55-16 keep them in.

No point in having ity bitty white letters showing when you can have big honkin letters lol

Ben

If on the white spoke wheels then have them facing out. I wish I would have.

Alternate them... ;)

I prefer the letters out on a taller tire.
