December 2, 200817 yr Well, I finally hit 300,000 miles a few weeks ago. It's a '95 Legacy L wagon, with a 5 speed, and it's still running strong. My wife has a 95 Legacy LS wagon with a manual - she's at 211,000 and it still runs like a top too. A lot of thanks go out to this group - I've had a lot of questions answered throughout the years. Adam
December 2, 200817 yr 300,000 is good, I had 288,000 on my 97 Legacy wagon and it was still doing well, but I let one of the timing belt pulley's come apart and the valves and piston's got together and made a mess.
December 2, 200817 yr 30,000 and your to the moon, then you can turn around and start coming back home. nipper
December 4, 200817 yr congrats on reaching the 300K mark...mine hit this summer and is up to 305 or so now.....
December 5, 200817 yr Yesterday I sold our '96 OBW with 202,124 miles & felt confident selling it to someone I know & see regularly. It is still solid & sooo comfortable. We still own a '99 OBW (30th ann ed.) & it's not as comfortable in the seat nor does it have the power up the hills... so be it. We now own a 2002 Impreza OBW (if you can call that a wagon).. my wife's new ride... NO dogs allowed. I will inform the new owner of my old '96 of this post & the 300,000 mile mark you've reached.... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! later, Peter
December 5, 200817 yr That's almost half a million kilometers. I'm only half that and I'm sure rust will stop the count before the engine and trans do. Congratulations!
December 5, 200817 yr wow! Thats fantastic. My brat is about to turn 200k and I'm hoping to get a pic of the odometer turning. Congrats. Daniel
December 6, 200817 yr Wow. I rolled 99k over on my '00 RS coupe today and have been worrying about the upcoming maintenance that is due. Thats great to hear about these cars hitting that mark. Keep it on the road man. Edited December 6, 200817 yr by Durania

December 8, 200817 yr 232,000 on my '93 Impreza, doesn't smoke and burns very little oil between changes.. Recently installed new Gates timing belt kit (complete with idlers and tensioner pulley) and a brand new Subaru water pump with Subaru thermostat and Gates hoses. Should definitely make it to 300,000 and greater with no problems. I love my Impreza.
