had fun with chalkboard paint

Featured Replies

well i got bored and wanted a newer GL hood with the hood squirters in the hood rather then the dumb metal ones that are stock on my 86 GL.

so i found another blue hood to match my car at my work today but decided to paint it with chalkboard spray paint. came out pretty cool. would like to do my whole car since a quart is only $12. who knows.

pictures when i get home.

the dumb metal ones that are stock on your 86 GL will work great with the hood squirters in the hood

agreed, did it on my old blue wagon, added the '85-'86 squirters in addition to the thru hood ones.....yea, could really soak the mud off.

although, going for the clean look on the loyale, swapped the hood and squirters from my '85 on it

Yup I did the same with my 92 Loyale that I had. I added the 85-86 squirters along with the hood ones

see my stock ones worked like crap, so i grabbed a 88 hood and put the fan style squirter's out of a MY01 forester that now sprays the whole windshield instead of the dumb stream that never worked worth a darn.

hey cool, the kids could have allot of fun decorating it for easter, I have 17 nieces and nephews, I could be the favorite uncle if i did that, than at the end of the day I could just erase it and go home ... Pure Genius

Hook up all 4 squirters,

  • Author

i did hook up all 4, but it seems to not have all that much pressure behind them so im just gonna go with the 2 new ones i got off the forester.

pics or it never happened.

next time if you have nothing else to say, don't bother please.

i know what he meant, im just tired of always hearing that epically on nasioc.com and such.

if you want to see just say that.

I'd love to see it! That sounds awesome though. I'd love to try the same thing!! I never thought to try fitting newer squirters in the old hood. I bet it works great!!

.

Maybe try getting another tank.... like a headlight washer tank off an XT6. Then use the pump from that to feed the OTHER 2 washers.

Then you have a dual tank, dual pump 4 nozzel setup!

even better is a squirter unit from MERCEDES 190 '84 - '93

3 ADJUSTABLE streams

much better than the gen1 2 stream NOT adjustable
