well its lookin like i may have caught the subaru bug and maybe gettin another subaru. its a 86 wagon d/r 5spd ea82 but it has a blown head gasket with 260,000 on the clock. everything else seems to be in mint shape so what do u guys think its worth

$500 max if it's mint

that's pretty good, depending on your area. Definately use the blown head gasket as a huge selling point, "well, the motor's blown" or something like that... :)

220-250 bucks max, who knows if you are going to have to replace the clutch with that many miles, CVs and all the other running gear may need work too.............................220 is what I paid for my touring wagon and it is perfectly clean!!!!!!!

I paid 190 for the exact same car as above, it needed a motor, other than that it was mint!

Offer $100. That's my top price for a 5 speed, 4WD, EA82. If it's not a 5 speed with 4WD, then I won't take it for free.

For comparison, someone just GAVE me a 93 legacy LS wagon - 4WD, Automatic (yuck) - just needed an alternator and an exhaust leak fixed.

I've owned more than two dozen Subaru's, and the most I've ever paid was around $1500 for my 91 SS.... but it's rare and desireable.

Seriously - put the word out that you are interested and before you know it someone will be calling you to haul one off. I have a reputation around my peers and coworkers for being "that crazy Subaru guy" and the damn things breed like rabbits around my place. I rarely have to actually pay for one. All you have to do is wait.

It kinda depends on where you are. In washington or oregon that car is worth 50 to 150 bucks. But here in iowa since they arent so rampant it might be worth alittle more. Id pay 250 bucks max for any non running vehicle.

oh yea i forgot all about headin up there. what do you got going on this weekend i may have some time to head up and check out the fleet and see about the cargo cover if u still have any? pm me about it

$250ish probably. Would have been $500 last summer, but back then you could get $250 for scrap value... and, it depends on where you are. Back east, I bet it would go for almost $1000 just because it's not rusty.....
