July 31, 200916 yr Tomorrow should be the last day of the project. Install the hood decals, trim the front fenders where the new tires rub, pop the camper off and cleanup some over spray and install the toneau cover mounting hardware. Here are pics of the new 205/75-15 General Grabber AT2's mounted on the refurbished Pug alloys. QUESTION: Does anyone have a functional replacement lugnut suggestion for these Pug alloys? Preferably chrome. http://www.flickr.com/photos/26905545@N07/sets/72157605926523746/detail/?page=10 Edited August 1, 200916 yr by ettev

August 1, 200916 yr ah, now they look SHWEEET! didnt realise they were 15's looks WELL smart in that colour, might have to invest in some of that on my 16" wellers with low pros on it
August 1, 200916 yr Beautiful build!!! :slobber::slobber: All it needs now is some serious off-road meats and some scratches on the sides! J/k hehe I hope to have something that nice as a daily once I get back on my feet, then I can make my current brat a true off-road only beast! You going to the WCSS?
August 1, 200916 yr Author Fenders trimmed, camper off, stereo tweeked, military star on the hood. http://www.flickr.com/photos/26905545@N07/sets/72157605926523746/detail/?page=11 My friends I think it might be a wrap. Time for a cold pitcher of beer, a CAO America cigar and very possibly a roll in the hay with the wife. Life is good. Thanks to all who followed this project. I really enjoyed sharing with everyone. Now, about that other '85 Brat I have...........hmmmmmm.
August 1, 200916 yr Ive never been a fan of white cars, but this one has "the look" NAILED!! Absolutey beautiful, worth 16g easy now The dark charcoal split spoke 15" pugs really set of the pure white paint and the camo graphics just set it a notch above perfect As for the lugnuts, I remember there being a Pug lugnut sticky in the wanted section I think, and I believe someone found some little adaptor washers that have the ball seat like the pug lugnuts, so you can use any Mag lugnuts with the right thread pitch.... -Bill

Do you think they look the same?
August 2, 200916 yr I don't think those will work quite right, they look to have the standard 60 degree tapered seat, the pug lugs have like a 2 piece ball seat, they are kinda wierd, I had 8 at one point, but I sold them... Check this thread, it has the info about the adaptors and other info http://ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=49131 -Bill
