New Thread: EJ wire strip class at WCSS11

Featured Replies

Can we get an idea of who wants to sit in on this class/clinic? Post here.

Noah has agreed to host an EJ wire harness stripping class:banana:

This will be interactive, so bring your harness and cut along with Noah.

Tools needed: Wire cutters, a small knife lots of masking tape and a sharpie.

Class from 12:00-2:00; should take about 2 hrs.

Does anyone have a video camera so that we can record this?

I think this is one hell of an idea. Depending on when and how much, I could be in...

Jacob

Greenley is bringing a wiring harness up with him. I am bringing my camcorder. If there is any onsite electricity anywhere, it would be a good idea to host it there. That way I can record the entire thing without worrying about batteries.

Time will be sat 12:00-2:00. This will give everyone a couple of hours to stage their cars in the show/shine. At this time there is no fee, but I am sure that Noah would accept a donation/tip for his service.

I will scout for a location with electricity when I get in on FRI. Will you be willing to burn copies of your recording for members if they cover your costs/postage?

I'd donate some for a copy of that.

Im a moron

Couple things...

See me when you get there, i'll find you guys some power.

Second, please please please bring box/bag/something to deal with your cut wire. You will end up with a lot of garbage wire, which you should probably take home with you, it can come in handy when doing the swap!

Third, Good luck!

The footage will be on digital8 film, until I port it to my PC via Firewire.

Production and what to do with said footage can be agreed upon when all parties involved are face to face.

I work for beer

Its something that i'm good at, and i don't mind paying it forward. No worries.

Hey good idea, I will be there and I will bring something to help your thirst. And I will have a harness also, Thanks

I will be bringing pro video gear to do some filming of the show and events. We could figure something out for this.

Damn, wish I could make it to WCSS11 for that!

Thanks again to Noah for helping out on the wiring harnesses.

Unfortunately, we did not get anything recorded.

You didn't miss much; it was mostly people sitting around peeling tape and electrocuting themselves with multimeters.
