Columbia County Fairgrounds (from ORG yahoo Board): This is Cara Holem, I am in a community 101 class which helps out the community by giving to non-profit organzations by raising money. One of our fundraisers is a Car Show at the Columbia County Fairgrounds. I would like to know if anyone is intrested in bringing out their rally cars or other cars. It would be at the end of next month and the money raised will go to a middle school drug and alcohol education program. To enter the car show will be $15.00 and it goes to a good cause! There will also be food and entertainment. If we can get enough rally cars, we will be in our own class. There will also be awards handed…

Here's one for you locals around Olympia so you don't have to drive to Oregon for an event. Fun to run, sometimes fun to watch. Great way to avoid cutting the grass on Saturday! Schedule: - Tech Inspection and Registration: 8am-9am - Driver's Meeting: 9:15am - First Car Out: 9:30am Cost: $30 for all entrants (includes admission to the ORV park) After tech inspection, please go to registration to obtain your timecard. There is only one session scheduled for this event. Worker positions will be assigned at the driver's meeting and the entire group will be split into run/work groups at that time. Sunday Sept 17th, ORG event at WA County Fairgrounds www.oregonrally.com Sunday Sept 24th Primitive Rallycross event at Washington County Fairplex in Hillsboro. See the attached FLYER (and print a few to give to those you feel might be interested) 3 runs for $20 or 6 runs for $30 This is in conjunction with my ra…

I'm in Coralville/Iowa City, and I've seen a few other old gens cruising around, plus a TON of new gen stuff. Any of you post here? I'd be up for some beer runs with other Subaru people, and possibly some nice muddy cruises. -=Russ=-

Is there anyone on here that attends UW, or will be this fall? I'm thinking about possibly starting a Subaru Club at the University of Washington. There isn't one, and all I need is four people who are dedicated to the cause. Get back with me, and maybe we can meet up to discuss.

Be careful what you wish for, it might come true! September is going to be interesting: Rallycross schedule: With the post-phonement of WW, there's a PRG rallycross at the ORV park on Sept. 9th. Scheduled rallycross by ORG on Sept. 17th at Hillsboro, OR Rallycross by PRG at the ORV on September 24th. Rallycross School by Primitive Racing at Hillsboro including a rallycross on Sept. 22, 23, and 24 There's a double rallycross weekend at the Mt. Washington Lodge on Vancouver Island on Sept. 23 and 24th   Well, there goes my rallycross budget for the year as well as my "honey do" list is just shredded.

Sorry it's so long, but in 3100 miles, alot happens! Many thanks go to Zap, Ken, Corky, and all that helped put on the show! It was great! WELL worth the trip from Southeast Arizona, car turned over 200K on the way back, too. Car ran good, lost a power steering seal when we rolled into Reno where we met up with Subieman and his wife and NV Neno. Great guys and gal, btw. Kepted an eye on the fluid level the rest of the trip, but it stopped leaking after the mud pit, I wonder why? No other drivablility issues the rest of the trip up there. We caravaned up with them from Reno to a campsite just over the columbia river on the Washington side where we met up …

... well, Oh-Dark:30 tomorrow, Whitefish to Port Roos, then swing up to Cranbrook and back down to the border highway through the Rockies. Anything we musn't miss along the way? We're staying at the Guilford Sheraton, where the Pretty One will be at a Hula Ho'oiki (workshop) for three days, and I will just be goofing around Vancouver, and maybe a day trip somewheres. Suggestions are welcome. Also looking for a wrecking yard where I might find a pair of doors for the Barbie jeep ('95 Sidekick/Tracker ragtop). Follow-up edit: Does anyone know it there's a market in Vancouver that stocks Vegemite, in the real size (1/2 litre or so) jars? All we can find…

Ed beat me to the "first" pics, but here's my pics from the show, if you see a good pic of your car in there you can get a hi-res print from Webshots for pretty cheap, or click "view full size" and download the hi-res version. http://community.webshots.com/user/hondasucks1983/ They are in the "WCSS8" album.
