  4. An aluminum wing will get you better MPG.
  5. Use some old mitsubishi, we need to keep these old subarus around as long as possible.
  6. I think about this every day.
  7. Besides, most new account people usually post two or three times and we never hear from them every again till they have a problem with their headgaskets. Post=555
  8. I just now got around to posting pictures of my new gauge cluster in my blue brat. I had went to the autozone the morning of and purchased all brand new bulbs for it, $40. Getting the old ones out is the easy part, the PITA is getting the old girl back in(the cluster). Well heres the pics of the beast...
  9. Rick you do alot of mudding?
  10. I would adjust it and it would slip so I would have to go out and loosen it. I had almost zero pedal and it drove me nuckin futs. There was all kinds of cable dust (little silver specks) all in the floor board where it was riding against the pedal.
  11. Went Tuesday and got me a new OEM clutch cable for the brat, me and my dad put it in today and had an instantaneous effect. The hole on the clutch pedal had an oval wore out in it, alot of the rubber pads was falling apart. Took and snagged the appropriate hardware off my white brat and installed the new cable. The oem ones go in alot easier than the goofy autozone one did. Soon as I pushed in on the clutch I had a 110.5% difference. The pedal no sits flush with the pedals, not two inches below them. Made my day.
  12. I want to snag the one off my white brat, I would assume that it would be pop out and go. I just cant tell much detail from looking at these pictures.
  13. I had the same problem a few weeks ago. I went to walmart and threw down on a cheap can of carb cleaner and some fuel treatment. I cleaned everything up and had my dad rev it out side of the car while I kept it running on the inside, he also sprayed some cleaner in. Mine must have sucked whatever gump through and started running fine again.
  14. Im thinking about attempting this with my brat and using the linkage off my white brat with 60k. I just dont know where to start.
  15. Where is the ad for it, I talked to a guy a few days ago about a brat for sale over in Lenoir City TN, pretty sweet I still have the email he sent me with the pics if your interested Jordan. Or this could be another one, but this thing is nice though.
  16. There not fun, I had my dad look at it a few minutes ago and he noticed that it was starting to fray up where the cable meets the tits (there is a previous thread where this concept is covered) and he agrees that its being stretched as well. Gonnna call bright and early in the morning.
  17. Maybe Emily could have hooked you up with a "buy one get one free deal".
  18. It started slipping bad tonight on my way to work. I am about 95% ready to throw down on a factory cable.
  19. They should have said: "Take this STi to help ease the suffering..."
  20. What I was thinking, I had put this thing in about 4 months ago, and never really got it right. Thinking about taking it to the dealership around here and have them put it in. I hate putting these in and would rather just pay them.
  21. I cant seem to get my cable just adjusted right, it will feel like I will have it fine for a couple of days and then it will just go back to the way it used to. The pedal will sit about 2 inches below the brake pedal and when I push in I get a real nasty squeak. Nothing seems to work and I have adjusted this thing several times with no permanent solution. Bad cable or what?
