  1. While me and the girl friend was riding the tram back to the car yesterday I spotted a first gen legacy painted a ruby red with gold wheels, was an SS cause I seen the hood scoop. Was wondering if it was a board members, cause this thing was SHARP.
  2. Everclear still legal in Tennessee. Used once to get better mpg a few years ago in my hatchback.
  3. Have a good look at the heater hoses in your floor board. Next tip: Dont taste anti-freeze. Anti-freeze = Dead.
  4. I went to the dealership the other day and purchased a new oem drain plug and the ring that goes with it for my brat. I go to looking at the ring and am wondering which side goes flush with the oil pan? The ring looks to have a flag side and a rolled side.
  5. Give me gauge cluster pic, or give me death.
  6. Alot of these are close to me too.
  7. Did you go and get your alternator checked? They can work halfway sometimes and fully others, what happened to me last week.
  8. You got a link to the ebay ad for the brat?
  9. Ive rescued in worse shape, its got the standard EA81 rot on the steering wheel so don't feel bad.
  10. Throwing a little STi in there always fixes things.
  11. First thing: Get alternator checked!!!!
  12. The EA81 threw a red flag to me too.
  13. So could an STi key be cut for an EA81?
  14. I like it Shannon, keep that thing on the road.
  15. I just swapped out my 200k worn out cluster for a 65k into my blue brat. Before the swap I was getting a low voltage reading and the Brake Fluid and Stop Lamp Lights as well as the low fuel and voltage lights would not come on. What part of the wiring carries these things so I can look at trying to fix this part of my electrical mess. Thanks.
  16. Wish I was closer, the fifteen minute project turned into a two hour one today that ended with me getting pissed and driving my toyota instead.
  17. I am sort of lacking in that department, any other thoughts and ideas? What about dropping the steering column?
  18. I took a pair of needle nose pliers and just swisted them and they come right off the back of the panel.
  19. There are two different sized bulbs used in the guage cluster, small ones that look like Christmas lites and bigger ones, ill try and get the exact part number but they are the same that go into the climate control area as well.
  20. The part that I am stuck at is that I can't seem to get it in there just right, I am having clearance issues in the back with the black and white circular plugs that go into the back, I cant seem to keep them plugged in and still get it to fit back in there. Its like its getting caught on top of the climate control panel.
  21. I got all the bulbs for it today at the auto zone, about $40!!! Easy part was getting the old cluster out but the biggest PITA is getting the new one back in. Any tips?
