I told her that this thing would be easier to learn on than my RS, RS clutch is say "goofy". No plans for any big mods yet, just gonna put the miles on her and do work. Will be my daily driver when I get the STi in a few months.

It was a $2000 personal loan. I had the cash already and my bank saw that. Plus, we own our home and have excellent credit. Also have a paid off RS and 2004 Accord and ZERO credit card debt, just mine and her's student loans.

I wish I still had my stock RS wheels laying around. :-\ This thing has brand new all season Goodyears on it.

I think those are the factory Outback wheels for that year, says those alloys were standard. Hmmm.

Wife is going to learn to drive a manual on it. I just climbed out of the thing a few minutes ago. The PO really loved salt. The RS was super dirty, got behind a truck of saw dust in the pouring rain this morning on my way to work.

Waiting for the bank right now to finalize my loan (got cash, don't want to deplete savings) 95 Legacy Outback, 5 Speed, 2.2

Depending on the exhaust you decide to use, will effect your sound. I have heard some exhausts be super raspy even with the UEL headers, make sure and find you a good exhaust to go with or just use the factory catback. This thread will give you some ideas: http://www.rs25.com/forums/f5/t52687-official-exhaust-should-i-get-thread-video-clips-only.html

I will be attending for the 3rd consecutive year. I think it would be awesome if we can get a Subaru convoy down the morning of the rally. The only downside is, like it any other rally,it's in the middle of nowhere. What's the label say that is on the driver's side door panel? Looks good man. Just about spot on with my old one:

I used an 83 BRAT as a daily driver for a few years. Sold it and bought my 2000 2.5RS and got about the same MPG on the highway.

What he just sent me in an email: " It is when I am going. When I start to coast, going from a higher speed and letting off the gas, when its going down in rpms. Its like killing it when changing gears with a manuel. But when I give it more gas, it stops. I do know that the Breadbox did have to change their filters on the pump last week, when I got this tank of gas. Also, I didn't last long, the shake. Speed wise, I was going about 50-60 last week and 75-ish today. So, I don't really think it that. "
