  1. Thanks Rob, I took the factory RS 6 spokes off and shoved them in my shed. Wasn't much of a fan of them painted gold so I left them alone. Connie, thank you very much. Granted the paint is a little expensive, it was all worth it in the end. I have gotten nothing but great reviews about the painting job and looks even better when the car is cleaned up and waxed. I made sure and drove by local storefronts this past weekend to get a view of them in motion.
  2. Glad you asked. http://www.grimmspeed.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=144&osCsid=ul4cel4p6q5c2dhlq7jcnkuti5 I ordered three cans but only used a can and a half. The key is in the prep work with the sanding and primer. It was ok to leave tires on when painting just make sure and have the wheel weight relocated. I would not recommend painting then having tires put on. They will scuff the wheels up. Also, the primer I used was two coats of etching primer.
  3. BRATs look so good with tinted windows. Can't wait to see more.
  4. It SHOULD fit your car, it will have to be modified though. When I had mine put on, I had to have it lengthened so it would mate up with all the exhaust hangers and have the factory look. Of course I went with it cause it was given to me and I hated the aftermarket fart can exhaust that was on it when I bought the car.
  5. http://home.comcast.net/~citylimitmotorsonline/Inventory.html Its on the last page. The main difference is that a touring wagon has a raised roof in the back and are pretty rare.
  6. Jordan, you could probably get the parts for the car right there in their junkyard. I would probably only offer a grand for it. It is a dealer after all.
  7. What you need to do is buy a set of replica borla unequal length headers. I would have went this route but I elected to have an 04 STi catback but on just so mine would be quieter.
  8. Thanks dude. Will have pictures up right after I wash the thing, my house has a ton of pine trees around and the pollen is terrible.
  9. Actually the remained of unused note cards for my business statistics class.
  10. I just seemed to phrase that incorrectly. In the dream, I began painting wheels without applying any primer.
  11. Guys, I am glad you really like them. I had a bad dream about last week that I screwed up my wheels. In the dream I had forgot to primer them. I had spent about two months trying to find a set of 98 2.5RS 5 spoke goldies but everyone wanted a lot for them or they were on the other side of the country. So I just did the next best thing with my free WRX wheels and just had tires put on. The tires in the picture have 0 miles on them. I just got to put them on.
  12. Those are my favorite old gen wheels and those look great with that red painted caliper. I had white ones on my BRAT and took my buddy's steam buggy cleaner and used it on them. It did wonders for the wheels and really brought out the white coat.
  13. Thanks man. I had about 8-10 hours of total prep time before doing any primer. I am very happy I did not paint before getting new tires put on. When I got my sanded wheels back there was grease and a couple scuffs on some and I had to reclean them. I can't wait to get some pictures of them installed.
  14. Right after sanding with red scuff pad. 2 Coats of Primer Grimmspeed gold paint, supposedly matches BBS gold. Arsenal The gold was after 1 coat, I did three coats last night and am letting them bake in my hot shed till either Saturday or Sunday depending on how I feel. These are going on my '00 Blue Ridge Pearl 2.5RS coupe.
